  • Great for Keeping Pests Out of the Garden
This netting works for my particular situation. It surrounds two planter beds on T-Posts, and does a great job at keeping deer, rabbits, and squirrels out. Consider more of a deterrent, because it is rather thin, but used in conjunction with some other items, works like a charm. It will tear easily, but is easy to install. I like it, and would recommend it. ... show more

  • Worked great!
I was skeptical how such flimsy netting work deter animals at first. When I first planted my new corn, something kept eating the tops, then ate a few entirely. Since putting up the netting, nothing has touched them or gone under them. I have even hit it with my weed Wacker a few times accidentally and it did not even tear. Very strong, and great deterrent ... show more

  • Netting fine but very flimsy.
Not durable and very flimsy. Nice zip ties and ground stakes. Depending on your application it’s a good value. I can’t imagine it keeping anything besides birds away from what you’re protecting though. Deer certainly not.

  • This saved my tomatoes
This netting was an inexpensive and great solution to my deer and rabbit issues. It was easy to use and has held up all season. I am grateful I tried it first!

  • Worked great
I live in an area where there are a lot of Whitetail deer that will eat everything in your yard so this worked great putting up about 5-7 foot steaks from Home Depot, but you could use less than(shorter stakes) just not unravel the entire fence, but I liked it because you really can’t tell there’s fence up when it’s up. The only caution I would say if if you have extra at the bottom watch out so chipmunks do not get wrapped up in it. I did have a chipmunk that got a little tangled, but I was able to cut it out and he did ok :). So I became very mindful about how I gather it at the bottom and at the ends. In my case, it was easier than putting up any formal kind of fence. I also tried a DIY YouTube using fishing line w/stakes because deer can’t see it and it kind of freaks them out. I had that initially, but in time it just didn’t stay as taught as I wanted. It did work tho. ... show more

  • Very thin netting, but invisible
I have mixed reviews. I love the fact that you can't see it from a distance and it doesn't look like a fence; it's almost invisible except for the fence posts. However, it is slightly flimsy and I don't know how long it will be until the deer discover they can tear it down. I will keep it up and see how long it tricks the animals. There are a lot of good reviews on it, and I understand why - this is perfect alternative to hide an ugly metal fence around your flowers and veggies. If your critters are scared of a light netting, this will work great. So far, so good here. It's a little hard to handle because it's so thin, but time will tell. I hope we've got dumb animals. ... show more

  • Exceeded my expectations
I live in northern Michigan and the deer and bunnies will eat your garden vegetables quicker than you can say "Detroit." Last year I planted habanero and jalapeno peppers because they leave those alone. This year I expanded; added green beans, brussels sprouts, tomatoes. There is no way they are going to leave those alone so I invested in this deer fence netting. I was a bit skeptical about it after reading the negative reviews. Some reviewers claimed it is hard to use, too thin to be protective or even seen by deer and other nibblers so how could it stop them. I didn't really want to invest in a fence though, or even metal chicken wire. Things are expensive these days, yes? Even though gardening is a hobby, I like to at least break even on my costs with what I harvest. I just put this netting up, so I can't comment on its long term durability or whether it will stop mammalian pests from eating my vegetables. But, I will say this product really impressed me. The netting is VERY strong , flexible, and surprisingly easy to put up on the T-posts I am using as anchors. When I opened the box and saw the netting all rolled up into a 2 foot roll I thought, "now you've had it." My first thought was this is going to be a disaster trying to unroll that netting and get it to go onto the T-posts without creating a tangled mess. Fortunately, I was wrong. It unrolls without snagging or getting tangled during the unwinding process. I would just recommend you think before you act in putting this up, and take it slow. I didn't have a second person, but if you have one available, it would make it easier. This advice is important, because there are no instructions or videos to watch. I read some reviews that said the animal pests could not see the netting because it is so fine. I can see that being a problem, so I put some orange survey ribbons on the netting at various heights and intervals around the perimeter of my fencing. They hopefully should be able to see that. Also, the netting kit includes zip ties and large staples that go into the ground to better anchor the netting. I used it at the top and bottom of the netting once I unwound it to tighten things up. I am very happy with my purchase overall. I think for $18 it is a good value. ... show more

  • It's alright
I was amazed by the size of this fencing and such a tiny box. The elasticity in it makes it easy to pull around screws or whatever you need. You can't even see it when it's up. It's like there's not even offense up so the appearance is great. I live in the country so I have a lot of deer and the performance isn't as good as I hoped. You can only pull it so tight the stability isn't very good. ... show more
