I have gone through quite a few different lights,teting out to see which one's work best for my plants since carnivorous plants need a lot of light .there was a lot of trial and error on my part and I finally caved in and spent over fifty dollars on a light which ended up being this one. I have been using it since January and my plants seem to be thriving . For the specs,I love how you can set the brightness. I have it set at about 70% with my plants, but it can definitely be a little blinding. The lower setting is still bright but not as intense.The fan is very quiet and it seems to keep the light cool. I run it for about fourteen hours and there hasn't been any issues with it becoming hot. There is before & after photos of my pings that have been grown under these lights in and they have gotten so much bigger while under this light., just in the last 2.5 months. Of course it also is how they're taken care of but light is also key! I think this is a great,more affordable option compared to some of the other fancy lights out there that cost double the amount of this one. If you are looking for a decent ,well working light that is adjustable with a fan, then I would definitely recommend this one. ... show more

The media could not be loaded. After spending some time researching different lights on Amazon, all in the price-range of $90 to $130.00 or more and then finding these lights, at this price? What more can I say? 1st and foremost, these lights have better features than other lights costing 3x the price. In fact, with a built-in cooling fan, the LED quality/build and with the amount of IR÷UV+FSLEDS totaling 588pcs. You will NOT find a better light build at this price. Epistar LEDs are exceptional LED light diodes. They have the same if not better qualities of better known brands. Great life expectancy and powerful wavelength output. The Warm 588 piece Sunlike Full Spectrum LED configuration of Fecida lights offer growers of all indoor plants an exceptional proven spectrum that can carry you through all stages of growth. I can not recommend these compact lights enough. These units are very, very, very well made. Dimmer knob is smooth to dial and responsive. Not loose to turn at all. Hanging gear is above normal in quality, as an electrical engineer, these hangers can handle more than the weight of these lights. I hang lights that weigh more than these lights do, with supplied gear that do not come close to the strength and weight limits of these hangers. Fans are quiet and work along with the dimming knob. When lowering brightness, it also reduces the fan speeds as well. A+ on lowered power consumption. Linking (Daisy Chaining) these lights is as simple as plugging them into a wall outlet. You use the same power cords to daisy chain these lights together, so there are no extra wires to keep track of. They interlink easily and quickly. No fuss. Just amazingly simple. Overall, you would have to be a fool to pass these lights up. Compact. Great quality. Exceptional output. Better features than most lights costing 3x or more. Great LEDs. Warning: these are EXTREMELY bright lights. You can't look at them when they're on more than 50%, not even as an accidental side glance, without a very distracting afterimage for a few minutes. I've never had a light this bright. I really love the diode density, and these lights have more UV and IR diodes than I've seen on any other grow light. Honestly my only issue is that I sorta wish they were made like this in a bar form - the light is super intense but doesn't cover much area. I have a tropical jungle in my basement with dragonfruit, figs, mangoes, citrus, Annonas, and many species that are so obscure they're only known by the scientific name, so light is a major consideration for me. Because most of my plants are tree or bush form, though, and because I have so many (I hung up an old door as a plant table and it's entirely covered with all my smaller specimens), I have to supplement these powerhouses with Barrina lights to get the proper spread without breaking the bank. I have a Fedica light at the center of each growing area (hanging table, atemoya tree, dragonfruit, suhosine table, and upstairs with my banana tree) and several Barrinas spaced around to try to cover everything, but if the Fecidas came in a form that covered more area (not talking the larger units that just vastly increase the light density with just a little addition to the area covered) I would probably toss my Barrinas in the closet forevermore. Also note, I've been using the Fecida lights for at least two years now, year-round, 16 hours per day, and not one has shown any sign of failure. Definitely quality units, and I have yet to find anything with a better wattage efficiency. ... show more
