This beam is trash! It is unstable, and too light weight. It wiggled around when my 48lb 8 year old WALKED on it. She only used it twice before it totally fell apart! If she had been doing a flip she could have fallen on the screw that slipped out! Totally unsafe DO NOT BUY THIS! Get a higher quality one!! My daughter chose this one based on picture (they look good). However, when she started use it, she quickly realized that it is not long enough and not stable. After a couple use (for a 70lb girl in level 3-4 traning), the screw connecting the two pieces also fell out and cannot be put back. Good thing is that it broke apart within 30 days of order so that we were able to return it. ... show more

The beam came apart after a week and it can't be put back together without restabilizing the base. My daughter still loves it, though. It's just not durable for beginner gymnast.

We were so excited for this and my daughter couldn’t wait for it to arrive. When it arrived, the colors look similar to the picture and was very pretty. However, the wood was broken on ours upon delivery. When trying to lay the beam flat, the middle wouldn’t go completely flat. I had much better hopes for this. ... show more
