  • Solid table
Let me start by saying I am your average/a tad below average pool player. I shoot in some local tournaments and play in a weekly league. I have constantly said and as well been told I need to purchase a pool table. Of course there’s your used tables out there but didn’t wanna hassle with buying it from someone getting it from there house and hauling it to mine. So I did shopping online and came to find out you can either spend 5k plus on a higher grade table or you can go the cheaper route and get something of poor quality! I stumbled across this one that seemed to have the best reviews and most everyone seemed pleased. So I took a chance and made the purchase! First off the box it comes in is pretty heavy (but it’s a pool table so it’s to be expected) I recommend at least 3 solid individuals for safe handling we managed with just two of us though. Assembly was probably the most straight forward thing I’ve put together with very easy step by step instructions took roughly 2 hours from start to finish with two people. Leveling is a breeze with a 4 ft level took about 5 minutes not sure why others kind of complained about the leveling process. The balls seem to be fine I wouldn’t say there the highest quality and I plan to purchase a more quality set soon but they seem to be fine. The 2 cues that come with it are pretty much worthless (but I would assume most people purchasing a table surely have there own sticks). The thing about this table is it definitely plays slower than let’s say a diamond or higher quality table but I believe the cloth plays a big part in that and I have already mentioned the idea of replacing the cloth of one of more quality. All in all seems like a great table and exactly what I need to step my game up and didn’t have to break the bank in the process! ... show more

  • Great Looking Table
Great looking table but you do get what you pay for. The legs are not as solid as I would have expected for such a heavy table. But slate is 2-3 more expensive. Just dont slide the table to move it. Pick it up... more than one person. Over all happy.

  • The table is Ok for beginners
the table came and me and one other man carried it in, the table looks nice but it was hard to level if you buy this table make sure that the leg are straight are you will never get it level the leg are not easy to put togher if you have big hands, the sticks are cheap so buy some, after three day i got the table as level as i can, the table is ok if you're a beginner but if you a real pool player this table not for Us, I will keep it till i can get a real slate table. The problem with this table is the bolts won't stay tight once a week i had to tighten the bolts and relevel the table i don't know if this is becauce i had it on carpet are is it a common problem. ... show more

  • Poor Quality Control & Design
The media could not be loaded. An insert and the associated bolt for the base assembly were both stripped. In the interest of time, we found these parts at a local hardware store. It doesn't make sense that these parts were stripped since we had to assemble them. They should have never touched each other before we received them. Also, the screws that hold the end plates on the legs are too big and caused the material to split out. This issue was made worse by the fact that the pilot holes were not drilled squarely. The screws need to be smaller or the leg material needs to be thicker. We mounted the blemished faces to the inside so that it wouldn't be as noticeable. I realize that this is not a multi-thousand dollar pool table but these 2 issues are unacceptable. If it wasn't such a hassle and if I hadn't already had an event planned, I would have returned this table. Only giving 2 stars since I did keep it and have used it. Haven't been able to keep it level yet even though it's on a hard wood floor and I've leveled it many times. Adding video and changing to a 1-star review since the table appears to be badly warped. We have loosened screws, tightened screws, leveled and re-leveled all to no avail. I am initiating a return of this item. ... show more

  • Great pool table for the price
Bought this nervous after reading the reviews. Heres my summary Pluses: 1) Easy to assemble - (Note: Easy not Quick!) I was under pressure and tried to do this on my own in one night. Tip is to take your time (legs can be tedious) , split the tedium with another person, don't over tighten the bolt first go and then you will have it together within 4-5 hours. 2)Comes with good quality balls, brush etc. Cues are a bit flimsy - I used them for around 2-3 months initially but upgraded recently as I played more 3) No roll on table (small at times) - take our time to level (2 people). |Readjust after a couple of weeks around 3-4 times as table settles on floor etc 4) Looks great - in fairness , I have see other mates tables that have cost over 2k and this looks better (granted theirs may have a better playing surface but hey none of us are giving up day job due to our billiard abilities souse this table for fun) 5) Free quick delivery, overall good value for money. Negatives 1) Felt looks a but light - no issue now but will be interesting to see how it wears after a couple of years playing. 2) Bit of a hollow sound when hitting the balls initially but again you forget after a few times. (also you didn't pay for a full slate table so...) 3) Would not advise trying to sit on it playing one of those awkward shots - can hold one leg etc but not full body weight|! That's all - overall happy with purchase, would recommend for basement playing a couple times a week. ... show more
