Each soft tip dart within the Fat Cat Darts in a Jar collection are designed with a high quality, nickel silver plated barrel, which offers exceptional balance and styling in a slim profile. Having a slim profile dart barrel is necessary to obtain a closer grouping of darts to maximizing scoring. Intended for use with electronic dartboards and are ideal for casual-to-intermediate level players. Each barrel has strategically placed knurled bands, deep grooves and rings that make excellent gripping points and encourages consistent hand placement. Fat Cat soft tip darts are equipped with lightweight, convex nylon shafts that provide a tight barrel fitting which improves stability and reduces the need to retighten during play. Quality flights help increase speed and reduce drag, producing a consistent flight path for pinpoint accuracy; detailed graphics are prominently displayed for added flare. These darts feature 2BA Tufflex Tips II soft tip dart points that have a reinforced cone, making them extremely strong and durable. Simply twist for a tight, secure fitting and easy removal. The barrels are compatible with all 2BA sized corkscrew thread dart points. These Fat Cat soft tip darts are stylishly stored and protected inside the included twist-top jar.

What a big difference these darts made in our game! We have the Arachnid Cricket Pro 800 dart board and have been limping along with the horrible darts they include with the package. Finally we decided to buy more soft tip darts and chose these. As a result, may game play has increased immensely. I have won 14 out of the 16 games we've played! And he's not a terrible dart player - I'm just lucky :) Definitely recommend if you have an Arachnid or any soft top dart board. Have an old Halex Oxford XO-2, I was down to only 4 of the original darts. These fat cats seem to stick well (I had read reviews saying they fell out, they seem to stick just as well as my originals) and fly true. While in the jar the flights get pressed into an "X", just bend them back, no problem. Would have liked a few different designs on the flights. I guess my next purchase will be extra tips and a tip wrench. ... show more

These are good darts for the money, they are well made and can take a beating. They work great on the home board and I don't see any reason to think they wouldn't work well for a league. The only downside, if you can call it that, is they are a little heavier than the darts that came with my wall mount dart board. I prefer the heavier dart but they occasionally had a hard time staying in the board after they were thrown. Other than that they were perfect, I will buy again when I need extra darts. ... show more

these darts are great in comparison to others I have tried, they seem to hold up better than most, tips will break on occasion, fins will fly off on occasion, however with soft tipped darts this happens, it seems like less often with the fat cats

darts break when they hit cement floor -- they break so the threaded part of the plastic stem behind the barrel, breaks off inside the barrel and its very difficult to get the threaded plastic out, so the dart is not repairable and therefore useless. But overall the darts work fine for people who don't get a lot of bounce outs -- kids on the other hand can destroy a good % of the darts in a week or so. ... show more

I bought this mostly for the shaft bodies. I upgraded all the flight shafts to aluminum and new flights. It gave me a bunch of sets to change up and try different combinations.
