I am torn on whether I will keep this coat for the price I paid, only for two reasons, the length for me personally is too long, I'm 5'8 and I would just prefer it to hit higher. I did listen to reviewers on going up in size, I can usually wear a bigger medium, or a smaller large, this was a smaller large to me. I'm generally around 163lb, this coat fit fine, arms a little big for my taste. It was packaged neatly but my biggest issue with this coat is that when I tried it on and put my hands in the pockets I felt a wrapper and pulled it out, I was scared it was gonna be a used kleenex but its a candy or gum wrapper and it's pretty worn looking which makes me think someone wore this for awhile and then returned it, there are no stains or anything but if the seller is going to sell a coat that's already been sent out and returned I think they should disclose it or at the very least check the pockets, so just knowing the dirty wrapper was in there I'm not even excited about this coat which I'm realizing as I'm writing this, so now I have decided I will return it, ha. But overall it really is a beautifully made coat and I would recommend! I left 4 stars for the wrapper, hopefully the seller will read this and be more diligent in the future and check the pockets before re-selling. ... show more

I was pleased with this trenchcoat. There were a couple reviews that made me doubtful but I bit the bullet and gave it a try. I like all the features and the style. It is just a little bit large but I am in between a medium and large. 5'5" @ 136lbs. I do not like any clothes to fit tight and I will be able to wear a sweater under this with no problem of it being too snug. It arrived in a timely fashion and was folded neatly. I have it hanging hoping the creases hang out. It they don't, I will bounce it in the dryer to get them relaxed. ... show more

Pros: Fits nice through the body, good weight to it, has all of the “traditional” trench coat features I was looking for (flap on chest, buttons on sleeves, back flap, buckle on belt), sleeves are long enough! Cons: The belt is so high above the waist! I can’t believe no one has mentioned this. It looks like a maternity coat above the belly. If I keep, I’m going to have to get that altered. Also, the color and sheen are a little strange. Bluish tone to the red, satin sheen. I thought I’d hate it just looking at it in the packaging, but once on it is quite flattering. This people didn’t even bother sending it in a nice box or package. It came in some random transparent plastic bag, wrinkled. It looked so nice on the photo. The material is so cheap for the price that they ask, unbelievable. It s really cheap even goodwill or Walmart has better stuff

I had my doubts about this jacket, but it had a lot of good reviews so I took the chance. I ordered beige but it actually ended up being an off-white/ivory color. It felt thin and cheap and clung to my body instead of having structure of it's own. Also, the fit is not suitable for a petite frame.
