I bought this for senior prom and it was perfect! I got so many compliments and felt beautiful in it. My only negative is that the train is a bit long but even then it was easy to hold onto it while dancing and there wasn’t anything stuck in it or any tearing to my knowledge. I must admit I had apprehensions about this dress. The dress is stunning, and will make you feel beautiful. The color is vibrant and flattering. Only thing I would say is be aware to get toasty. I knew this already prior to purchasing. Given that it is not a natural fabric it will retain heat. I would say the dress is true to size but I could have probably gotten away with sizing down. I got it custom made ( ‼️measurements: bust - 68in waist- 64in hips- 76in shoulder to shoulder- 22in‼️) to wear to the Harry Potter Yule ball in Houston back in December! It was a show stopper!! I got so many compliments in it! As I said I got it custom made and even then it felt big, I’d rather have it a bit too big than too small though! It was really long! I mean really long!!! So I did spend most of the night carrying the dress to get around but nothing too crazy! Also, some of the flowers weren’t sewed on too great so some of them did fall off but nothing too noticeable! This dress was fantastic. I did end up having to alter it, but honestly it made me feel like a fairy princess and the gasps and awws we're worth the alterations. I wore this dress to a LOTR themed wedding and it couldn't have been more perfect. Loved by everyone and me. It made me feel gorgeous, and put smiles on everyone's faces. A couple of things: It ran small for me, but as you can see I am a hefty lady with a large middrift. If your tummy runs larger then size up or prepare to alter. The length was perfect, down to my feet, if you're on the less vertically blessed, you'll want to hem the bottom. The flowers were not expertly knotted, so every time I took on or off the dress another flower fell off. No matter the fit you will likely want to tack down those flowers. (They add a lot to the dress so with out them it's a little less special.) Lastly, the sleeves. Beautiful. Fully made out of crinoline. Including the parts where there are elastics at the wrist and shoulders. So if you have any feeling in your skin, you may want to consider covering those elastics with a softer, friendlier fabric. Without lining those elastics I couldn't wear the sleeves for more than 5 minutes. Once they were covered though, it was super comfy. Beware: it is incredibly difficult to eat in these sleeves 😂 for dinner I slipped my arms out of the sleeves to make sure the dress stayed pristine.
