When the package arrives, take a damp cloth and wipe them down. Then I apply my gesso (primer) and begin drawing. They are smooth and if you apply your gesso properly they will not be a bumpy mess like regular canvas and you will get gallery quality paintings. Some wood panels have wood strips that then warp. Be careful when buying some of the cheaper panels that they aren't as nice as these. Wood canvas panels for your fine art...five stars. ... show more
