  • Perfect
Color: Black Size: 50-54
I'm a big man. This fits well around my waist. It is very well made. Not cheap and flimsy. I expect it too last a very long time. I like the webbing look as well.

  • Not what he's used to but a good belt
Color: Black Size: 32-38
Got this for my husband to replace a worn out military belt. The belt seems to be high quality material and it works like it's supposed to, all the stitching is strong. He is used to the style that has the extra length on the outside so you pull it to tighten but with this one you push it into the buckle instead. It fits thru his uniform cargo pants belt loops fine. But he said it's a little harder to get his fingers between the the pants and the belt to adjust it. The buckle also opens different, and he says the buckle doesn't poke his stomach like the last one we tried since it is slightly narrower. Although he says it's a matter of changing his habit, takes a little more effort to adjust, that he will continue to use it because it does a good job of holding his pants up , doesnt slip loose, and that was the goal. Overall a good belt. The buckle works well and it does look nice, very sturdy, the belt is also a thick strap, should last. Hope this helps. ... show more

  • Solid Belt
Color: Silver Size: 42-46
This belt is a mixed bag. I’m seriously overweight, and there are some aspects of this belt that don’t work well for me personally, but overall, I still find it is generally superior to more traditional cloth/leather belts. Good stuff: The webbing seems durable with no discernible stretch. When it is tightened, it stays tight, and it doesn’t roll even under my substantial girth. On first glance, the ratcheting/latching mechanism looks like it is going to be uncomfortable, but I was surprised by how little I felt. The underside of the buckle didn’t cut into me, and it was only after more than seven hours of slouching forward at my desk that I noticed my belly was getting a sore spot from the top of the buckle. It is hard to describe, but my point is that I had been wearing it for weeks and hadn’t noticed anything until that point. It is way more comfortable than it looks. The buckle has a tension release lever that makes it easy to quickly remove the belt, even when you realize you’ve had too many beers and nuts and need a fast visit to the nearest toilet. Lastly, in spite of having no particular mechanism to grab onto, the ratcheting mechanism holds securely (with a caveat below) Not so good: The release mechanism can be triggered by the zipper area on your jeans (mine, anyway). This can be overcome by adjusting the buckle of the belt left or right or “center”. My belly mostly conceals where “center” is, but on someone else it might look a bit odd. Then again, if you lack the big belly to mask the buckle, maybe you won’t have such a hard time with the release either. The only other sort of negative mark is that the loose end of the belt goes behind the secure part of the belt. This is one of those things that is probably more of a problem for me than for someone who has more of a butt or is simply in better shape. For me, it can be hard to get as much tension as I would like, and then having achieved that tension, it can be hard to get the loose end tucked in. Even though it can be a bit uncomfortable and require more than one attempt, the smaller increments of adjustment make it a lot easier to get the belt, “just a little tighter.” I think my ideal version of this belt would be a similar design, but one where the loose end lays atop the tightened belt and it would have some clever way of protecting the release mechanism without making it noticeably more difficult to release the belt. I love that there isn’t a tension adjustment “region” like there is on another belt for which I’ve seen ads. I have hopes of losing at least some of my weight, and I like the idea that I don’t need to worry about either outgrowing or un-growing tot he point that this belt will have to be replaced for those reasons. ... show more

  • Best Fit! Looks GREAT!! Why Ask Me to Review STRETCH???
Color: Blue Frosted Size: 42-46
This belt is great. I can adjust it any time during the day. I often wear my jeans on long walks and sometimes need to tighten the belt by the end of the walk. No issues with that. I can tighten it up as much or little as I want. Belts with holes make you choose one hole vs. another, and do not work as well as this belt. Buying another 2 or 3 in different colors, so I can match other clothing. Spouse-approved! ... show more

  • My favorite belt by far
Color: Silver Size: 36-42
I had not used one of these but now I don't think I'll use anything but these. Can't seem to find a quality leather belt anymore at the various clothing stores and mostly they have stretchy, fake, "leather" ones. I tried one of these and as expected their life span is not long. I saw this ratchet belt and I thought it seemed like a great idea. It is! Belts with buckles? Never going back. This is sturdy, doesn't stretch out, just in the short time I've had it is very clear it will last awhile. If it doesn't, I'll be back here to complain. Price is reasonable too. I'm buying at least one more. ... show more

  • Good inexpensive belt

Looks good, works good, very satisfied. Can't speak of longevity as this is not my everyday belt.

  • Good For $15
Color: Silver Size: 42-46
I normal wear an Ares so this belt is not that. But, it’s light and functions ok for $15. My only real complaint is it is not discrete when you need to adjust it. You have to really use both hands due to the lock and flimsiness of the belt. Good for what you get but not great
