Upon initial install I believed these to be dead on arrival. Did a direct remove/reinstall of my fog light bulbs - neither worked. Took them out, bench tested with a 9V battery and they both light up bright. It was the I noticed that they are missing the tab inside the socket (standard on OE and most other bulbs) that allows you to plug them in only one way. I did a second install, this time flipping the plugs 180 and they lit right up. Pleased with the brightness. Have no opinion yet on longevity or durability. I ding Fahren 1 star for wiring them backwards and not engineering in a tab that permits only the correct install ... show more
