  • Great Product for a great price
Model: 9008/H13
Now that I've been using them for a couple weeks I can make a review. I bought this lights a couple of weeks ago and at first a little skeptical due to what they were stating and also the price. But I decided to give it a go and got them for my wife's car. They work really well in low beam and in Hi beams. To be honest I wasn't having my hopes up because her car is low/hi beam altogether. For my surprise the output is really strong in low beam and hi beam, and one other feature I liked its that it doesn't affect oncoming traffic. They are easy to install and they are adjustable meaning that you can adjust the angle of the bulb so it will be a straight line and no dark spots. The only con I could give is that and is really on my case I had to modify a little bit the plug that goes to the main light plug other than that everything comes together fairly easy. ... show more

  • H11 FACTORY DEFECT
Model: H11+9005
****UPDATE 2**** I have installed them and sure enough the set screw caused my suspected issues on the H11, and a unexpected set screw issues on both 9005 & H11. The unexpected problem, was the set screw will not hold the collar as intended. As you should know, the proper installation require the LEDs to point to 9 & 3 o'clock so you're lights don't blind people and work as intended. The set screw and the collar is how you adjust this. When I was installing both sets, the force needed to push down the seals, was so great that once you turned the bulb to lock it in, the set screw slips and then your bulb is no longer where it should be. The fix I used was to use a cotton swab with a very thin layer of lube on the seals and mating surfaces, to lower the pressure needed to turn and lock bulb into socket. Also, I realigned the setscrew where it should be and tightened it up. Even with the fixes, I had to do it twice for each bulb. Also the reason I did it twice was part of my original complaint, the H11 set screw grabbed the seal and twisted it. The second try with the lube and it was ok. The low beams work incredibly well! Since I aimed them properly, they are not blinding yet I can see everything. The brights are unbelievably bright, but hard to aim. ________________________________________________________________ The 9005 pair appear to be ok, but I have not installed them yet. The H11 pair have a definite factory/engineer defect. I have not installed these yet, so an update will be coming. As most of you know, modern headlights need sealed to prevent moisture and dirt from clouding up the lens. So this factory defect may not seem to be a big deal to some, but it could allow moisture in around the seal/O-ring. Picture 1 shows the blue O-ring isn't straight/flat. It has a bump. At first I thought it was just out of the groove, but on further inspection the allen set screw used to align your LEDs at 9-3 o'clock is what's holding it up. I then thought maybe it's not screwed down all the way, but I used the supplied allen wrench to check tightness. They were already tight Picture 2 & 3 I pulled the O-ring up to fully expose the set screw. Picture 4 & 5 I took notice of the position of the seal, so I would place it back properly and only fixed one bulb at a time to be sure. I used fingernail clippers to cut a small notch to make room for the set screw. This was my choice to fix it, but you could always try to find a shorter set screw, or grind this one down if you're good at working on tiny parts. Of course you could always return them Picture 6 & 7 is where I reinstalled the O-ring. Notice I used a pen to mark the O-ring with a small line so it was easier to line up the notch I cut to the set screw. Be sure to get the O-ring set straight in the groove. Also I am worried the O-ring could slip when I install on my SUV, so I gently cleaned the O-ring and the groove with alcohol. I used a cotton swab on the groove, carefully so as not to get any alcohol on the bulb or circuits. I also plan to put just a tiny bit of dielectric grease on the contact surfaces when I install them, to help keep the seal I place while turning them . Picture 8 is of the positive and negative marks ( + - ) on the plug. For those that don't know, LED is a Diode, a Diode that is Light Emitting, hence the name LED. A Diode is used to only allow electricity to flow in one direction. If you see a plain one on a circuit board, it has an arrow on it showing the direction. Some LEDs you don't have to worry about which side is positive or negative, they may have circuitry that makes it work either way. Some LEDs must be wired/plugged in to the correct polarity. I'm not sure how these are, but the plug is marked to help you. If they don't work, just flip the plug around. If you have a multimeter, you can use it on the car side of the plug to figure out for sure which side is positive. I'm confident I chose good LEDs and my fix will work. I probably have ruined my warranty doing this, but it is what it is. Sorry for the long review. I am off work for now and it's too cold to go outside so I am bored. I'm hoping Fahren sees this and replies and/or fixes the issue. It seems to be difficult to navigate their website to look up product or contact information. When the weather gets warmer I will install these and update my review ... show more

  • 2012 ford explorer oem look with projector headlight
Model: 9005/HB3
These lights are bright and easy to install. If you want a bright led headlight that looks oem/factory these are the ones you want, especially if you have projector headlights. I got them for my wife's 2012 ford explorer and you would've thought the headlight was factory. She loves the projection and the highbeam when using, these lights really give you a good sight ahead when driving at night, along with that nice ice blue/light blue color that does not look corny. ... show more

  • Brightest, but...
Model: 9005/HB3
These are probably the brightest bulbs I've tried -even brighter than the Novsight n60s. Not only that, their throw is outstanding. Unfortunately... they do not work on low voltage, so you'd be without daytime running lamps if your vehicle uses the high beams as DLRs -the reason for the 4-star review is that this is not advertised anywhere. Also, a minor gripe: they are not fully aligned. And they are not really adjustable. They were horizontal. I had to rig the collar to get the bulbs vertical. ... show more

  • Best ones so far
Model: 9005/HB3
I bought these to use as my lows vs a different brand which are now my highs, these are brighter than the other brand as my lows. They do have a bit of noise after a couple of minutes, but that is to be expected. Depending on the brightness from the street lights, I will some times wonder if they are on, also to be expected is they will dim a little bit after prolonged use ( I drive Uber in the evenings) but the dimming never lasts, that or my eyes adjust to the slightly lowered output. ... show more

  • Bright
Model: H11+9005
Bought for a 2011 Jeep grand Cherokee, and can be tedious to install. The lights are bright and consistent. Make sure you plug them in correctly so that they aren’t working and you are confused. With low beams you can see roughly 150 feet and the high beams pushing 300. I strongly encourage you upgrade to these leds. ... show more

  • Great product all around
Model: 9006/HB4
I'll start off by saying u won't have a problem seeing thats for sure. By far the Brightness brand I've owned. Out of the 5 sets I have purchased, I've only had one issue with one bulb flickering on my day time runner which only lasted 6 months. Just replaced then with the Termitors to see if I have that issue again. If the back there warranty ill change from 4 stars to 5. ... show more

  • Brightest I have had yet!
Model: 9008/H13
If you don’t want other drivers to flash you to turn off your brights when you don’t have them on don’t get them. If you want to install the sun in the front of your vehicle then these are the lights for you. I just bought my second pair after a year or so of heavy use so they hold up in my truck I use for road construction. I would recommend getting them if you want bright! ... show more
