I've only had this for probably a few weeks now, but I've definitely put it to the test. I wanted a stand mixer to be able to make cookies to gift, but couldn't and didn't want to spend hundreds of dollars on the pricey, popular name brand mixers. The color of this is the first thing that caught my eye (I got the purple one which really more like a pinkish purple, so pretty!) After looking at the features, the size of mixing bowl and attachments and reading the reviews I decided to give it a try. So far I am not disappointed at all. It is doing the job I needed very well. Now I am no where near a professional or even experienced baker, but it is working well for me and I have turned out dozens of cookies so far with great results and makes it so much easier than using my traditional and old hand mixer. I purchased this mixer to replace an expensive brand name that only lasted me about a year. Looking for the best value and biggest size I fell in love with this shade of blue and I absolutely Love everything about this mixer. Not only is it gorgeous, its sleak finish makes it very easy to keep clean. I have owned many stand mixers in my lifetime, this is by far the most powerful mixer I have ever used. The suction on the bottom keeps it firmly in place and It whips up potatoes effortlessly! Big enough for a family of 6 and does a great job at keeping all of the ingredients inside. It’s easy to operate. The different attachments interchange very smoothly .. I’ve also noticed that it operates much quieter than the model it replaced also. It’s got a large capacity but designed to maximize space. I am Very pleased by the quality of this mixer. Just got this and have only used it once, but I like it so far. Made yeast dough and with a recent wrist injury this was the only way kneading was happening. It did a good job. I love this, it's my first stand mixer. It works great, it mixes, there is no sticking and it doesn't scratch the mixing bowl. The only poor thing about it, is that it goes nuts when I have dough in there with the hook for kneading. I crank it to three, and the neck starts bouncing up and down with a thick gummy dough (about 4 cups of flour worth), I'm worried it will break the spring and pop up suddenly. When it gets really nuts, I hold the top down with my hand just to be sure it doesn't snap. It's not bad for a first time mixer, it's just not as strong or durable as I hoped for dough (which I use a lot), but for the price it is great for lighter cooking, like pancake dough, eggs or other liquids that need mixing. I think if you want a stand mixer for pasta or dough, you might need to spend a little more for something with a stronger neck. =) ... show more

I unboxed the product and assembled it as instructed but the back support as soon as I lifted the top something broke on the inside and it wouldn’t turn on, the support on the inside just broke so I never even got to see it function.
