I have never had a lot of trouble with my skin besides the occasional breakout. Now that I am in my mid-late thirties my skin has been changing noticeably and I have been having a lot of trouble with redness, dryness, blotchiness, and pimples. No matter what kind of cream or lotion I use I break out terribly after using it. When I came across this I decided to give it a try based on the positive reviews. The first time I used it I definitely used too much. I also noticed the fragrance was sort of like old rose petals which I did not find appealing. However, the smell goes away quickly after application and is not very potent. I’ve been using this oil for a couple weeks. Now I use 2 drops for my face and one for my neck which seems to be just enough. Within a few days I noticed a difference in my skin. It is softer and smoother and more evenly toned. There is less redness and it doesn’t make me break out like the lotions I have been using. That isn’t to say that I haven’t had ANY pimples but there have been far fewer to none. I have noticed that not all of the oil seems to get absorbed, so I might start using even less. Overall I am very happy with this face oil and I will continue to use it daily. ... show more

    • Great product for severely dry skin. Doesn't cause breakouts. Only negative is smell.
This winter my face got so dry it was cracking and painful. I started to develop dermatitis due to the dryness. I picked this up at Target and started using it in the morning and in the evening after washing my face. Just 3-5 drops works well on the whole face and neck. After letting it set for a few minutes I use my Burt's Bees lotion on top. Within a couple weeks my skin looked significantly better and was less cracked and painful. I have continued to use it twice daily and have purchased my second bottle from Amazon. My skin tone has improved and it has not caused any breakouts. The smell is the only thing I have to say I don't like, but after using it for a while now its doesn't bother me. Great product for a great price. Nice feel, but use layering! Start smaller than you think you need to (it does have a nice “dry considering it’s oil” feel, though). Smells great! One star off for a used box taped shut…a little odd. But bottle clearly had never been opened.

    • This is exactly what a combination skin needs!
I am writing this review because I just purchased my second bottle! I have combination skin but it's mostly dry! Winters are the worst! It flakes and there are dry patches all over my face! I tried various moisturizers including the ones with hyaluronic acid and what not! No product was able to retain moisture on my face for more than a couple of hours! Thats when I decided to try face oil! And this one checked all the boxes! I apply it once in the morning and it keeps my face moisturized for upto 8 hours! I never got any pimples or acne while using it! It absorbs very quickly! The only and only downside is that it does not smell nice! Good oil oversll and zi have used all kinds of oils with very dry skin. The smell is different. It’s good and evident they didn’t add lots of perfumes but not always a pleasant experience. Gives off a burnt rubber after application smell. I will not purchase again but using the bottle forbsure. .

I have been using this product for quite a while and love that it makes my skin feel moisturized. I tend to have dry skin, and the facial oil reduces dry patches. People often tell me I look younger than I am which may be due to the use of facial oil
