These extenders do the job easy to install but are a little flimsy they want to Come off easy when you move the chair even on vinyl floors. You would have to pick up the chair.if.moving it on carpet or they would fall off.the plastic clamps are too flimsy to hold onto the chair you can’t get them tight enough without stripping the screw. ... show more

Kind of bulky but they do work for what I needed

    • For short child's bed
These work okay for a short (less than 14" high) child's bed with legs that are fairly the same width as the recessed cups. Thinner legs are probably not good for stability reasons. It helps if the bottom of the bed legs are solid (not hollow) so they have a surface that can stick to the permanent tape that's inside the recessed cups. Overall, these risers feel solid in hand. I can't imagine any furniture legs piercing thru them (as Ive experienced with cheap plastic risers in the past). But the base is not wide enough to support a large bed or any furniture that is in a position where it might be bumped into or moved. I think they may work well for extra wide coffee tables or heavy dressers. I wouldn't trust my TV stand with these things. I tried it on an accent chair, but ran the risk of breaking the chair legs or having one of the risers slip out. I own a taller version of these same style risers, and they are just so wobbly. I'd say this is about the tallest lift you can safely get from a narrow furniture riser of this design. Keep in mind, it's not really a universal, "one-size-fits-all" design. It really only works (safely) with the right shaped, weighted, and positioned furniture. ... show more

There's a reason the product description so precisely limits how big a leg these can accommodate. There's a reason you never saw this product on the market until recently. There's a reason so many customers are returning these as unsuitable. My advice is to find and buy the type of leg extender that screws into the wood/metal material. This "clamp" style is just flimsy as heck and leaves you forever worrying if/when your chair will fall. If these have a legitimate use-case, I haven't quite found it, and feel like I wasted my money. ... show more
