The colors feel creamy and had good pigment- I only had to go over the shimmer at the bottom more than 1x (just to get it to show up) since they're all so well-pigmented, and they went on smoothly too. My issues with it are that the pallette is MUCH smaller than I expected based on the marketing. The whole thing fits in my palm, and I have child-sized hands. My other issue is that all the colors are much more orange-tinted rather than neutral brown/tans on the color spectrum, so most of them won't work well for me since I'm a redhead. I'm not removing any stars since that's how screens can vary, but the colors will work fine for other people. ... show more

I don't like to bring my large and costly pallettes along when I travel and this worked perfectly as an alternate. Although it's tiny, it's still has a really nice variety of colors. They're silky smooth and have good pigment.

Bought this because It’s called Maverick and who doesn’t want to look at that when they are getting ready to go out in the world? This is, like other reviewers mention, very teeny. But the colors are great - good mix of metallics and mattes in golds, rusts, browns - so it can be the one pallet you throw in you travel bag. And for traveling, if you’ve ever had a palette turn to dust during transport, you’ll be glad you have a small one. ... show more

I love the colors. I would give it 5☆ if it weren't so tiny. It is approx 3/4" smaller than a normal size palette. With as much as I wear eyeshadow, I will go through this quickly.

This is hands down the best eyeshadow and well worth the money! As the day goes on, I tend to get very oily eyelids and so my eyeshadow tends to crease in numerous other brands. Once I put on thicker layer with my eyeshadow brush (not included) this holds up all day long for the 16+ hrs that it states. (That's also with out primer etc).
