Not sure why this has bad reviews, this product worked amazing for me. People may be using this product wrong, hence why it’s for professional use only. I did some self lashes and was ready to take them out. I used professional glue so they were on there. I tried the hot water, coconut oil, all of it & nothing worked. This was the only thing that worked. It DOES absolutely burn if you get it in your eye, so you have to be careful when applying it on yourself. If you have help great, but if you’re like me & impatient till your husband comes home then you can still get this done on your own. My trick was putting a wet (with cold water) cotton pad folded in half directly under my eye. I had it pushed down on my lower lashes and a little over my under water line (this was the only uncomfortable part about this, but it’s tolerable. Way better than burning yourself) And then I closed my eye onto the wet pad and applied the gel remover on all of my lashes and massaged it in using a q-tip going side to side. Avoid touching your eyelid. Keeping that wet pad underneath helps a ton! Just take your time and use a magnifying mirror to help be precise with application. ... show more

I was very hesitate to purchase this because of how mixed the reviews are but oh my goodness…. You guys….. the way this gel slipped off the lash extensions from my eyes! WOW. I’m so so happy!!! I highly reccomend using a tapered makeup brush Instead of a cotton swab so you can be more precise. Add the tiniest amount and put it on the base of where the extension is glued. Wiggle it a bit and it should slip right off in under 2 mins. It got in my eye only once with that technique and the burn wasn’t bad at all. The reviews are over exaggerating it. I’ve tried many many lash removers and the burn on those were intense. But this one was barely anything. Just splash some water on the eye keeping it closed and boom! the burning stopped immediately. Yall get this. I had low hopes for this product especially because I did my own lash extensions at home using the ardell brand lash extension glue so I thought it wouldn’t work. But I was wrong. This exceeded my expectations by so much. This is the only product that took my lash extensions off with literally zero damage to my real lash. ... show more

It was difficult to use this product and not allow the solution to touch my skin. It got the glue off but definitely burns when it touches the skin. I followed the instructions exactly but still couldnt prevent the solutin from touching my skin.

I’ve been an avid lash wearer for years now. Anything from strip, cluster, individual etc both professional and DIY. Using a large variety of products and brands. This glue not only burned so badly my eyes watered uncontrollably. But made them itch and swell to the point I had to remove it and I can testify to its longevity as the lash remover that was suggested for it-ultimately failed and my lashes fell out! I started doing my own lashes and forgot to buy an eyelash cluster remover and had to manually take out my eyelashes using vaselline. It was painful and thank goodness this product did an amazing job of removing the clusters and only took me few minutes to do it. I would definitely recommend!!

So I bought this lash remover because my close friend had one and I started to get my lashes done and I knew I needed one. I always get volume set and I would have my lashes in for 3-4 weeks and then I’m ready to completely remove them. The product is easy to apply on, I use a Q tip and apply it above my lashes with that eye particular shut. If you open your eye the slightest, it will burn very bad. It definitely took me longer than 30 minutes to remove all my lashes on both eyes. I believe it has to do with the lash glue my lash tech was using . I had to keep reapplying more lash remover. And no, I don’t use a small amount of lash glue remover either. Lastly, the lash remover does leave residue and I believe it’s from the lash remover breaking up the chemicals. Overall, I wouldn’t mind buying it again but I’m definitely going to look for a new lash remover that’s more effective. To sum it up, Pros: affordable and the instructions are easy to follow. Cons: can burn if you accidentally open your eye, have to apply ample amount of lash remover, it takes long to remove lashes, and it will leave residues around your eye. ... show more

I had lash extensions put on for the first time. Three weeks later the lash tech could not keep my appointment to have them redone so I needed them taken off. So I bought this product after reading the reviews and it worked great. Follow the directions and you will have no issues using this product.
