  • True Blue: Not full mirror but orange/brown tint
Color: Frame: Matt Black / Lens: True Blue - Vl...
High Level: True Blue is an orange tint - which is perfect for me. The mirror is semi-transparent, so if the full block style is important, unfortunately, this color won't prevent others from seeing your eyes / face through the goggles. It would be GREAT if the "ruby" color was actually a "ruby" / orange tint. They are very nearly if not fully blocking mirror. These are really pretty great goggles *overall* and just an absurdly good deal with two lenses at this price. Like many goggles in this category, however, the color refers to the external mirror color not the TINT. For me, the tint is critical for performance. Orange/Brown/Yellow tints are really the only ones that work for me. Lots of these goggles use a blue/grey tint which, again, for me ... really performs poorly for anything but very bright days on groomers. That's just my opinion though. I skied the Ruby lenses for a few days this year to confirm. I attached a picture that shows the "True Blue" color on the *right*. It's not a mistake. "Ruby" is in the middle. As you can see the color does not indicate the lens tint. For comparison, the left-most goggle is the Smith I/O Mag (not XL) with the Everyday Red Mirror color. Optics-wise ... I may actually prefer the Extremus to the Smiths, which is a huge surprise. At 1/10th the cost these are an easy sell if for nothing more than a backup. The Mirror on the smiths is much more opaque. They do look nicer. They do lock the lenses in place. Smith's support is excellent. Despite all that, I sold the Smiths in favor of these goggles for the season. I've used smith's for probably 20 years. These were a warranty replacement and not returnable. The fit wasn't right and buying a replacement is just too expensive now when stuff like this exists. Ideally, for this goggle, improvements would be a latches for the lens to lock it in place, a black strap option. It would be really nice to replicate similar lens offerings where the Ruby lens is a tint like this true blue and the yellow lens would have some mirror. ... show more

  • High quality for a low price.
Color: Frame: Matt Black / Lens: Dark Pewter Cr...
These goggles are very nice. I got them for mountain biking. I haven't used them long enough to comment on their durability, but they seem very sturdy. The magnetic quick change lens feature is very convenient, and they come with a lens designed for low light conditions. This is great because I ordered the dark pewter tint and it's quite dark, so on cloudy days I can quickly change to the yellow lens. My biggest concern will be trying not to scratch the lenses too much. It does come with a nice case that fits both the goggles and the extra lens, and a soft bag for the goggles. For the price I don't think you can beat these goggles. ... show more

We have a few pairs of these goggles. The interchangeable lenses are great for varying conditions in the northeast. My wife uses these more than her new oakleys

  • Great Value!
Color: Frame: Matt Black / Lens: Full Revo Gree...
Purchased these goggles for a recent ski trip with some college friends, and I don't have any complaints. I'm not sure how they would directly compare to a high-dollar, name brand pair, but I only ski once or twice a year at the most. (Keep in mind that this review is only after using them for two days.) These goggles looked great, and performed even better! They were incredibly comfortable, and fit over my helmet easily. Even while covering my mouth with a neck gaiter, and breathing directly up on the lenses, I never had an issue with them fogging up. Very pleased with this purchase. ... show more

  • Great pair of goggles!
Color: Frame: Matt Black / Lens: Ruby - Vlt 25.56%
These goggles are amazing for snowboarding. Very comfortable. Anti fog is great but not perfect. Love the magnetic lenses too. My yellow night lense got scratched and customer service was able to get it replaced! Great goggles for a great deal I would definitely buy again

I love that these came with two lenses, for low-light and bright snow days. I wear glasses, my glasses fit inside very comfortably. The magnetic lens makes it easy to switch out during the day. Great value

  • Limited Over-The-Glasses (OTG)
Color: Frame: Matt Black / Lens: Dark Pewter Cr...
UPDATED 2021-11-15 I REALLY wanted this product to succeed. Upon receiving it on time via Prime, first impressions seemed to confirm my hopes. It seems reasonably well-made. The magnetic quick-change lens system works smoothly, at least in the early going. (I wonder if the frame may deform with use and hold the lenses less securely, but that is only speculative at this point.) The package comes with a clearer yellow-tinted lens suitable for lower light conditions and night use. No other maker I could find provides this very sensible kind of 2-lens package offering. And the whole thing was on sale, 10% off. It seemed likely to be close to perfect. And the description clearly and repeatedly stated it was an over-the-glasses (OTG) model, something I always get. Imagine my surprise when I tried to put on the goggles and found my small-form wire-rim glasses did not even come CLOSE to fitting inside. I would have had to bend my glasses to the point of discomfort and damage to make it work, even just once. No mention of OTG on the box or UPC label. I re-checked the online description. OTG clearly described in the text. UPDATE: Extremus has added a photo with clear numerical dimensions for the size glasses need to be to fit inside the goggles. This is a very essential step! Unfortunately, even my small-form wire-rim glasses are slightly too wide for this model, or for the other "MilkRun" model. I don't think these goggles earn the OTG designation, at least not for adults, but at least Extremus is providing potential buyers with accurate numbers to make an informed decision before buying them and then likely having to return them out of dissatisfaction like I did. I ended up purchasing a competitor's brand offering all the same features, including genuine OTG for adults. The AKASO goggles I got through Amazon are highly rated by many Amazon customers, and offer the yellow night-vision lens that must be purchased separately. This cost $10-$15 more than the Extremus all-in-one package, depending on discounts, but the extra money is well worth it to get all my requirements met. ... show more
