I watched a YouTube video. It was pretty simple to put on. Taking off the back grips are hard, the plastic pryer they provided honestly didn’t help. I used the screwdriver to pry them off. I haven’t noticed any issues while gaming. We play pretty competitively and the face plates don’t hinder or negatively change our game play. 10/10 from me! Me and my boyfriend love them! Feels soft and smooth to the touch, only issue is that at the bottom edge it does not sit completely flush with the remote. If you're willing to overlook that, it's a great way to customize your remote without spending tons of money or buying a flimsy skin.

NOTE: the lighting is not allowing for an accurate depiction of the Sakura Pink color. The color I received is just like the color in the seller’s pictures. I really need to start reading descriptions or even scrolling through pics because I did NOT expect to have to install this myself. I was EXTREMELY reluctant to do this once I saw the screwdriver and prying device. It’s made with quality plastic with a soft rubbery like texture which is feels nice in your hands. I should’ve read more closely though because I didn’t realize you have to take your controller apart to put this on.
