Description

Lifting your sport bike for maintenance or storage is easier than ever with the Sport Bike Motorcycle Front and Rear Lift Stand from Extreme Max Products. Consisting of two individual lifts that work separately or as a unit, the front lift stand nestles underneath your front wheel forks, cushioned with rubber padding that will not scratch your forks, while the rear lift stand cradles your dual-side swing arm spools (not included), getting your bike off the ground and into the perfect position for maintenance, repair or storage. Each stand features a substantial width adjustment, creating a custom fit for nearly any sport bike; the front mounting fork width expands from 9.5" to 12.5" while the rear spool attachment opens from 10.75" to 13.5". As possibly its best feature, the lift stands are incredibly easy to use. Once you know the width measurement of your forks and spools, lock the stands into the matching width. From there, wheel the stands into position and simply lower the handle down for a nice, smooth lift. The handle then becomes the stand's base, wide enough to maintain stability and strong enough to never sag. Note: Swing arm spools are required for use with the rear lift stand and are not included. Extreme Max recommends that all bikes be secured to the stands with straps while lifted as an additional safety measure.

  • Good Set of Stands
These stands are good enough for the novice or occasional track day use. Make sure you tighten all the nuts and bolts well once you align it with your bike. For the money these are good. If you want a set of strong stands that will never give you an issue… Pit Bull are the best.

  • Work great for Kawasaki Z650
These work perfectly for my 2017 Kawasaki Z650. You will need need swing arm spools and probably aluminum ones if you have the stock exhaust. These hold my bike rigidly with no side to side play or movement. I can push the bike very hard on the stands without it tipping or even rocking. Follow the supplemental installation instructions for torquing the assembly bolts and they are very stable. The plastic feet tabs on the stands are a weak point, and break easily. One of mine was broken on arrival, but you do not really need them - I took them off and threw them away. The manufacturer will mail you replacements if you break them. The expensive stands may or may not be more stable than these, but I have no need for anything more than what these can do. These are an excellent value. ... show more

  • Pretty versatile
This is a pretty versatile lift for sport bikes. It is adjustable enough to fit most bikes. I have used it several times. Works well and is stable. Good value

  • Rear One is Great, Front One is Not
Used these for my 2009 Ducati M900 to keep it off the stand and do some minor work that didn't require a full lift. Both units were easy to assemble, though both were not the best produced, with a little flexibility to them. I added a couple washers to tighten up some components. After assembly, the rear stand was very easy to use, and worked very well, though you had to watch as it as the arms could flex away from one another opening up beyond the width of the rear axle. No amount of tightening resolved this flexibility, so you have to exercise some caution when lifting until it has weight to lock them in place. The front stand was a nightmare, the design means the front two mounts are top heavy, and drop away from the lift points you want them on. It's impossible for one person to hold them in place and also push down on the handle to raise them, and I had little confidence it would stay up even if I did. The first stand very quickly found it's way into storage unused. I used similar designs on my front fork, but the tightness of components held everything in place better against gravity for the lift without slipping. In all, I recommend this at three stars based on the price point I purchased at and the rear-stand being fairly useful and solid with minimal real worries. That said there's cheaper single rear-stands that I would recommend over this set considering how bad the front stand was. ... show more

  • Excellent for the price
While these stands aren't those super high-end yellow anodized stands you can get from a dog breed brand, they do the same job. I picked up a cheap track bike to get back in to riding, and wanted to be able to run tire warmers. These lift the bike and hold it as stable as can be expected. I have two small nit-pick complaints about them. The front stand isn't quite wide enough with the springs installed, and the pin on the 3rd hole. I ended up removing the spring, tossing a larger washer in place of it, and doing the same on the back side. I then had to drill a new hole for the pin. Not a big deal, but kind of irritating. The finish is thin and easily scraped off. Not a big deal for me. Over all, I would buy again ... show more

  • Very poorly built.
The rear stand works well for my bike (CBR600F3). The front is just dangerous. The geometry of the brackets does not work with the front of the bike. Aside from that, the frame portion is very thin steel and flexes very easily. It was easy to assemble, but unfortunately I fell for the "good reviews, but very cheap" scenario. ... show more

  • Great lifts for a Honda CTX 700
I had to purchase spool adapters for my CTX 700 DCT before I could use the lifts, but once I had spools adapters installed, I gave these lift stands a try. Excellent leverage for lifting the bike, rear first, then the front. I've never had a bike light enough to use lift stands like these. I was surprised how stable the bike was up on both stands and how easy it was to get the bike up. I also purchased the triple tree front lift attachment and a large set of pins needed to lift the CTX. I haven't tried that yet, but as well as the stands in this review worked, I'm sure that will, too. ... show more
