This seat is 13" at the widest part versus only 8" for the original seat on my new bike. From previous experience I knew the narrow one was not going to be comfortable for any more than short rides. I was looking for something wider and I like the concept of an open area in the center to provide some ventilation to your nether regions. It took a bit to figure out how to attach the seat to my bike because it is different from the original. It ended up taking about 20 minutes to figure it out and get it done. It would have been helpful to have some instructions, but none were included. I took it for a test drive and for once didn't feel like I had a log between my legs. It cushioned my skinny butt well and I think it would also be good for someone who is considerably larger. It seems to be well made. I haven't had a chance yet to do a long ride but looking forward to it! If my opinion changes will amend the review. ... show more

My father-in-law uses his adult trike for general transportation around the retirement community. This includes riding to meals, playing pool, visiting folk in the health center, and playing bridge. He is 101 years old and an inspiration to us all. He has been using hand-me-down seats from the "exchange" but they tend to be worn out and uncomfortable (he is pretty frugal). So I finally broke down and bought him a NEW seat. Observation: 1. The extra wide flexible seat works great and the foam top is very comfortable. 2. He likes the cut out in the middle. 3. The shock absorbing features help him out with the speed bumps. 4. He enjoys the ventilation. 5, I loved that the seat came with the wrenches to do the install. Installation went very quickly and only required adjusting the binder bolt at the seat post connection. He has told me how much he enjoys it several times already. Thanks for helping me help him. This is an awesome comfortable bike seat, highly recommended! It's intended for a stationary exercise bike, but it also works great on standard bicycles as well as e-Bikes. I've tried 6 different bike seats for our two electric bikes and so far this is one of the most comfortable to ride on, that was my very first impression when I first sat on it. It comes with 2 different size brackets that mount it to the seat post, plus 2 wrenches. Very easy to install on your existing seat post and adjust to your desired seat angle. Most of our e-Bike rides are in local forest mountain dirt roads and trails that can get fairly bumpy. Our e-Bikes have 4" wide fat knobby tires but no shock absorbers, so one thing that helps cushion the ride is to lower the tire inflation pressure for a little more bounce. But now this new oversized very cushy seat takes our ride to a new level, it's a game changer in my opinion. Yeah I definitely recommend this oversized bike seat. ... show more

Definitely wider than the normal bike seats on exercise bikes. I replaced the seat on an off brand stationary cycle without any issues. The mount is the basic/standard receptor for the bike post. In addition to the wrench provided, I used an adjustable wrench on the opposite side to keep the tension even while tightening. Although an alternate mount is provided I did not need it. The wider seat is very supportive but not overly stiff. The cushion has just the right about of softness yet firmness - a nice balance of both. This was the perfect upgrade from the narrower and harder seat that came with the cycle. ... show more

When first looking at this saddle, it seems huge, but once it is mounted on the e-scooter it doesn't seem out of place. Installation was very simple, and a small wrench was included in the kit. Also, a second seat pillar clamp was included - it seems to be the same size as the clamp that was already mounted on the seat, but a nice gesture by Wuvop, nevertheless. Due to the expansive cushion, the seat was very comfortable. It does weigh quite a bit, but I am not that concerned about the weight of components on an e-scooter. The seat has a center cutout for relief of the perineal region and the pudendal nerve. The construction under the saddle is plastic, so I don't know how long this saddle will last. Considering this is on an e-scooter that I will be using maybe once a week, I will be covering the e-scooter when not in use, so cracking from exposure to the elements will be reduced.
