That pocket is on my side of the bed and perfect to hold my S&W 9MM soon as i seen them i knew that's me right there. Good value, Fast shipping! And good material feels good also.. I'll be buying more! So purchased a 2nd Set After washing the first one and putting on. And even the thick queen size mattress and 4inck memory foam on top of the mattress. I believe a Queen will fit just king mattress i had extra spare fitted sheet on each side and at head. Make sure get the Cotton sheet not the micro fiber sheet its the reason in the cotton pockets wasn't deep enough aggravating to keep on mattress.
