    • Amazing and hard to believe!
I got the red light device yesterday. I wasted no time and used it on my ankle. My ankle hurts when I step on it and twist my body at times and other times it doesn't hurt. Well, after one time 5 minute use it stopped hurting. I can't believe it. If this was someone else's review I would say no way, they are full of beans...But no, it is true. Every so often I would get this pain and it is gone..I just finished my second session. The machine itself looks like is good quality, it comes with two weird batteries that looks kind of cheap, but are rechargeable and it comes with the device to recharge them. It has the glasses to protect your eyes, a nice sturdy box where everything comes in.. super nice. Unlike other product that come wrapped in plastic and you toss it, this stays all in that nice box. The device has a button that you press. it is timed for 5 min. you are supposed to wait one min to let it cool down. Someone else said that the device gets too hot, not the case for me. The device is perfect, you can touch your skin without an issue. I am very impressed and it is crazy that works like that. I was expecting a gimmick or that it would take many tries...     • Very effective product with great customer service
I have an arthritic shoulder and could barely move my arm without sharp stabbing pain. This device immediately eased the pain for about one hour at a time. As I continued to use it, I noticed the pain wasn't as severe, until it was mostly gone. Then one day, after about five months, the device wouldn't turn on. The customer service was great. After trying a new charger and batteries, which the company provided, it still wouldn't work. They sent me a new one the very next day, no questions asked. I must say that the one week it took to resolve the issue, my shoulder was starting to hurt again. Now after beginning the treatments again, the pain has lessened. So I know that this therapy is effective for me. It's a great product, that is easy to use with wonderful customer service. ... show more

This puts out a good strong light, which seems to be therapeutic. But the design is not that great. They didn't put a charger into it so you have to swap batteries. That's great if you need to use it constantly, but who does? But the design is rather industrial. The threads are fine machine threads so they're kind of rough to engage and turn. They should have bigger faster threads. And the Battery spring as so strong it's difficult to pull the two together. ... show more

    • Has Performed As I Had Hoped
Has helped with some issues that have been ongoing for me. I noted that others talked about the unit getting hot, I have found that if you let it sit for a few minutes after it turns off automatically, it will allow it to cool down and be ready for another cycle of use without getting too warm to the touch. I am pleased with how it has performed for me, my Wife and feel it is a useful item to have readily available. ... show more

    • A bit disappointed but it works
Pro: It worked for me, human: arthritis, tenosynovitis, muscle soar, chronic stiffed muscles from a herniated disk. (If you got acute pain such as a sprained ankle, you need an ice pack, not this device. It warms up.) Con: #1. It has no case. You have to put it back in the box is annoying. #2. If I wore the sunglasses, I could not see ANYTHING. What is the point of wearing if you cannot see ANYTHING? #3. It did not work for my dog, who needs "musculoskeletal, vascular, lymphatic, and neurological structures to initiate the physiological processes necessary for pain/inflammation reduction and accelerated tissue healing. According to a website, "Wavelengths in the 600-700 nm range can only be used for treating skin and subcutaneous tissue, and wavelengths of 780-980 nm are preferable for the deeper stimulation." This device was supposed to have 850 nm, which should work for my dog, but it did not. Every time I brought my dog to the vet for laser therapy, he could stand up and walk like he used to be. So I had high hope for this device. For the dog who has the neuropathic disorder (probably), it does not work at all. A regular heat pad helped him walking after I put the pad on his neck.     • Its really a great price
It has some drawbacks, such as its heavy for its size, and it does need to cool off after 5 minutes. But you are getting two different frequencies of light, they are very effective for healing. Best to use on small joints like toes, fingers, ankles. You can't find that for this kind of price anywhere. As a Physical Therapist I've used red light therapy for at least 20 years.
