If you want to play just 6 titles, it's worth it. Most of the good titles in working condition are 50 bucks.

    • Fantastic device for playing on original hardware
I have a decent N64 game collection, but this is a great supplement for me to avoid a significant amount of wear and tear to the cartridges and hardware, as I want to actually play the games that I've collected. Note that this cart requires an appropriately sized and formatted microSD card loaded with the software and game backup files transferred from a computer (there are loads of tutorials available online) but it's very easy to use when you fire up the N64. Not all multi carts are created equal, and Krikzz products are top of the line. I'm glad that the team is able to keep producing everdrives despite their situation in Ukraine, and I was fortunate to be able buy this at a decent price closer to their own website's during a recent restock. ... show more

I've only recently come to appreciate playing on original hardware as being worth the effort over emulation. So after dusting off the old N64 I was really happy to find this product. This device I would say is a must-have to reduce wear and tear on aging hardware. It's also so convenient to just flip the power switch and select the game from a simple menu.     • Great little cartridge if you enjoy playing games on original hardware
Amazing that I'm able to play my lawfully backed up ROMs and lawfully patched ROM hacks on original hardware with this! The UI is intuiative and setting it up is as simple as downloading an OS to your micro SD card and putting some ROMs on it! Only downside to this device is the cost which is the only reason I reduced this to a 4 star review. This device is only really worth it if you want to use original hardware, otherwise emulation is a much more economical solution. A couple of caveats is that this device only supports up to 32 GB micro SD cards formatted with FAT32. So if you're buying a micro SD card with this, make sue it's 32 GB or less! You can also easily get away with a 16 GB card as all versions (all regions, all revisions, demos, etc.) of all N64 games take up just over 16 GB. So if you're only using this to play your lawfully backed up games, a 16 GB or even 8 GB micro SD card should just be enough. ... show more

X7 is the best everdrive money can buy. Its expensive, but its worth it. No glitches as of now. This cartridge is a krikkz original. Beware, there's cheaper krikkz approved x7 you can buy. But if you are going to spend 200 dollars for a krikkz approved/imitation. Then just pay the extra dollars and buy this cartridge off his website thats conected to amazon. That being said, you will also need a mini SD card. After some research, I found that sandisk ultra 10 mini SD card works the best. You only need like 8gb. But most are sold as a 16 or 32gb. Dont go over 32gb card. First, its overkill! Considering you will only use with game saves about 5gb, and second, I read someone said over 32 doesn't work as good. Haven't tried it to tell the difference, but again, you don't need it. Anyway have fun ... show more

Easy to set up. Comes with instruction manual & hardcover case. It also plays NES, Gameboy & Gameboy color games when you go to Krikzz website and download the latest update. A must have if you own a Nintendo 64 console.
