  • Works great!!
This product is inexpensive but it works so well! It shaves off all the pills on sweaters and any fabric without pulling or cutting the fabric. It is easy to empty the compartment and the screw on lid. I've used it for 1 1/2 years and the batteries are still good. Thanks for making a good product!!

  • Evercare Duo Pet Hair and Lint Remover,
My sis had this company product for over 10 years, and it still does an amazing job. So I finally decided to get one, and I LOVE IT!!!! So easy to use. See my before and after Pic. I won't be throwing away any more socks for a good long while :-)

  • Great fabric shaver
This does a really nice job. It runs fairly quietly and seems to work much faster than the old one it replaced. I knocked off a star because all the sides on this thing are rounded. It won't sit up at all; you have to lay it down on its side, which I find annoying. It also doesn't store as well due to that weird design decision. I wish the bottom at least had a flat surface so I could stand it up on a shelf. Other than that, it is a great purchase. ... show more

  • Rejuvenates your couch
The gadget you need but didn't know existed! We use this on our couch and you can't believe the difference it makes! It takes all the little pills off. It gets clogged, so an adult needs to clean and clear it. But my children can easily use it without harm.

  • Poorly made fabric shaver, with even poorer service from Sundance Beauty.
The following is an email I sent to Sundance Beauty for a resolution to my problems with this product. Hi. I was so excited when I opened this product and started using it. It de-fuzzed clothes beautifully. With in three minutes though, the button stopped working easily. (I probably break one thing every three years because I'm so careful. This was NOT abused.) After about eleven minutes of use, the button completely ceased to function. I checked for numerous problems, and I think there is probably a loose connection between the button and motor. The second shaver was a Christmas present, and I did not give it on Christmas due to my disappointment with my use history. I figured I may as well have the second one in use, so I gave it to my friend (who is equally careful), on the off chance my problem was a fluke. She used it for a few minutes, and then discovered (as had I) that the on button needed to be played with and prodded in order to keep the motor running. That shaver is regrettably needing to be returned because it's future failure seems assured. Both of us loved the job this product did while running. We didn't even mind that it eat batteries fairly quickly, because it's de-pilling action was superior. I have looked at the ratings for other fabric shavers (battery and electric), and it seems they all suffer from very poor construction - even the more recognizable name brands. (I'm guessing that there are one or two manufacturers, and none of them are making reliable goods in this department.) For this reason, I would love to return this item, and receive a refund. Thank you for your attention to this problem, and I'm looking forward to a happy outcome, since I've been pleased with your service this far. Teir reply: Dear Customer, We have a 30 day return period. Since the order is from November 12, 2015 we will not be able to take it back. Please contact the manufacturer directly to get a replacement. Their information is on the bottom of the package. So sorry for the inconvenience..Sundance Beauty Sorry to say that there is NO satisfaction form buying this item, and none form Sundance Beauty. Perhaps if I had bought this from Amazon directly, there would have been a happier outcome. Dollars to doughnuts, this exact same problem has happened to many others. ... show more

  • Effective, but clogs quickly
Pros: Small and lightweight, which makes it good for getting into tighter fabric spots near seams or underarms. While it occasionally took a few passes to completely clear an area of pills, overall it was able to clear the pills from three differently weighted knit sweaters, and was just as good on a smooth fine knit as it was on the chunkier ones. I found it was pretty easy to open the battery section, the lint tray and the cover over the blades for cleaning. The blade section also pulls off to allow for easier removal of lint. Cons: The blades get clogged up with lint SO FAST. As in, I would literally have to stop every 10-15 seconds to unscrew the blade cover and knock out the lint ball. (If I didn’t, the motor would audibly begin to strain and the blades would slow down.) I tried using this both vertically (sweater hanging against a wall) and horizontally (sweater flat on a table), and it made no difference. Very little lint gets into the lint tray, and just catches instead in the groove around the blades (see pictures for example.) This was true even on the finely knit sweater, so the fabric/pill thickness didn’t seem to matter. This, and the fact that the head surface is fairly small, means it can take a really long time to finish depilling a single garment. Overall: Does a good job removing pulls, but might be a good choice for travel, or small area fixes, instead of for bigger items of clothing. ... show more

  • Surprisingly useful
I wasn't sure what to expect because this unit is so inexpensive, but it works great! It has turned out to be very sturdy and does a wonderful job. The central hole in the screen will sometimes grab a pill and wind it into a cord instead of cutting it off, so it is useful to have a small pair of scissors to cut this cord, and some good tweezers to pull all of the cord out of that central hole. If you don't, it will keep grabbing and spinning those little cords. They will pull a hole in your sweater if you let them wind up too long. That is the only negative that I have run into, and I've used this on several garments. Do be sure to press very lightly against the surface that you are de-pilling, as it is possible, especially with lightweight fabrics, for you to snag a small hole in your garment, but it doesn't take very much pressure to get the job done. A very light stroke, sometimes with multiple passes, is all it takes. I am very pleased with this product, and would gladly recommend it. ... show more

  • Works Great 3 Years Later!!!
Tuesday, May 23, 2024: Bought this back in Dec. 3, 2021 and it still works great! I use it on sweaters, and especially my cushioned athletic socks which tend to pill after many washings. Takes 2 AA batteries and is very satisfying to operate. RECOMMEND
