I really liked this dress and I think it looked very nice on, however I did have to have it altered. I'm short 5'1 and I don't wear heels, but even if I did, it still would've been too long so I had to have the length taken up and I have a small bust for being as heavy as I am so I had to have it taken in at the sides. I could've gone down a size, but I think it would have been uncomfortably tight on my arms. I paired it with an emerald purse and emerald faux fur coat and some sparkly rhinestone flats for a Christmas wedding and I think it all turned out very well. I'd definitely do it all over again even though I had to pay $150 just to alter the dress but in the end, I'm still happy with how it looked. ... show more

I bought this dress last minute to chaperone prom, and it came quick and fit well! However, as soon as I took it out of the package, the chiffon overlay REEKED of chemical/BO/w33d. I’m not sure what the smell was from, but I aired it out outside for 2 days AND doused it repeatedly with Febreeze, and the smell still lingered. The other con was that the sequins under the arms get caught on the threads, so there ends up being loose threads all over the bodice. Other than that, it worked well for the event. ... show more

It fits as expected. There is some stretch in the bust area. I love the sequins. Some people had posted that the sequins were sparse but I didn't think so. I thought it was just enough.

This dress was absolutely amazing! I'm busty, so I normally wear a 3x (24/26) in tops. I ordered two sizes (24 & 26). Because there's not too much give at the top, I went with the 26. The 24 would have fit fine but I needed more room at the top. 26 was perfect. Only thing is tk be ever so careful with the zipper. Because the sequins are so close to the zipper it's easy for it to snag if you're not careful.
