I bought this for a work event. They wanted us to wear cocktail attire and I do not normally like wearing dresses so was dreading the thought of purchasing a dress online. Glad I did though! The dress is very nice, super comfortable and sparkly. I read other reviews so I did purchase 2 sizes larger than my usual size. Gulp! Normally I wear a 20-22, but purchased a 26 which I was very hesitant to do. It arrived on time and I had my doubts as to whether it would fit. I am 5'7 and approx 250-255 lbs. The dress was a bit big on the top, but not abnormally large, and it didn't look too big. I didnt have any issues with showing too much on top, which is especially nice. I may have been able to get away with one size down especially on the top, but these hips don't lie, so it may have been tighter on my hips (and thus less flattering). Very satisfied with this purchase. The dress is very long and does touch the floor. I don't do heels, so I may have to lift a bit when walking especially upstairs, if you wear heels you should be okay. ... show more

The dress is beautiful and like the picture. The fabric is very nice and soft. The size on the other hand is on the smaller side. If your a 2x try the 4x. I LOVE this dress! I bought size 16 and slipped it over my head. 179lb, 5’1” and 14-16 short jeans. It wasn’t too heavy at all. Super sparkly and shiny and soft. I had to get it altered to show less cleavage and to make the shoulders fit better, and shorten it. It was worth every dime. I’ve already washed it and it came out nicely! I absolutely loved this dress! It's a little scratchy, from the glitter, but nothing I couldn't handle for a few hours at an event. I'm always weary buying clothes offline because I'm plus size. I normally wear 18-20 and I sized up to a 22. The dress fit comfortable. Not too big, not too small. I did safety pin my bra at the shoulders because I couldn't find my strapless and everything looked stunning. I received so many compliments. Would buy again. Good quality material. The dress did run long as well. It covered my feet by a few inches and I wore flats which also probably didn't help. I'm 5'7 and roughly 250lbs if this helps anyone else with sizing! ... show more
