Description

The ERTL Big Farm Lights and Sounds Peterbilt Model is a great addition to any collection. It features a truck with a dump box and snow plow. The dump box lifts, and the gate opens, making it easy to dump out whatever you're hauling when you reach your destination. Removable snow blade lifts and pivots to push that "snow" out of the roadway. The front cab has real opening doors, and the front axle is steerable, making it easy to drive wherever you want it to go. We knew the truck was made of plastic but it’s definitely ALOT of plastic. Was hoping it would be a higher quality. We will have to wait and see how the truck holds up from use. I bought this for my nephews birthday. Like everyone else I was shocked when I seen the size the whole thing is about 3ft in length. The doors open, the crane is fully functional, you can attach and detach the pup trailor and raise and lower the landing gear the attention to detail is amazing. Excellent very durable quality. My son is 5, he will get this for Christmas so we did not open it. I wanted to leave a review in case someone else is debating paying this price for this truck. I think I underestimated the size it would be when I ordered it. The is size is huge - he will love it. If the quality/durability holds up, this is definitely worth its price. All trucks like this cost about $75-125 because they are so big! Don’t expect metal on toys- they don’t make it like that anymore. We bought three: this one, the log one from the supplier and one with a Mac, trailer and tractor from tractor supply. This one seemed the most boring to all the adults and I think it turned into the favorite for how much stuff it can hold.
