I live in Costa Rica. It rains almost every day and is humid. My new horse went from living in a tiny box stall to an in-&-out stall with 5 acres to roam. He loves it, but got really bad rain rot. It's hard to find horse products here. They use laundry detergent to wash their horses and that's supposed to help with the rain rot, but it never did. I bathed him repeatedly. My husband goes back to the US for work so I ordered this, along with a powder to help clear it up. I tried the powder first and while it helped a little, it wasn't enough. I then used this and within 3 days the rain rot scabs where gone! It cleared it all up and now his coat looks amazing. I just use this for spot treatment now and then, but this will always be a necessity in my tack room. ... show more

This was WONDERFUL! My horse had rain rod all over her withers, back, and rump. After one application of the lotion I could see a positive difference… after 2 applications her skin in smooth and healing with new hair growth. Worth every penny.

I applied this to a horse that's had sweet itch for two years. I have tried numerous other products and none of them worked. Within 3 days her hair started growing back! I just reapplied it because it rained, but this product is awesome so far!
