Turns out I love it. The first few times I kid you not it hurt and left raised bumps because there was so much to remove. I followed guidance from other reviews and exfoliate before and after epilating. And I used an acne cream to reduce the bumps. Now I epilate every other day or so, no long unsightly hairs. I love it can pull the hairs before I can really even see them unlike waxing. The only down side is my skin never feels smooth as there is always some hair growing. I love this thing! Yeah it hurts a little but before I used it the first time, I shaved my legs like 2 days before so it didn't hurt to bad,unlike an area where I didnt shave. I feel like the longer the hair the more painful it felt. So ill be defiantly using it with shorter hair. My ankles and knee caps are the most tender areas for me. I like how it even digs up ingrown hairs. Defiantly better and easier then waxing! ... show more

I’m used to waxing my arms so using the epilator on them wasn’t bad. I used it on my underarms and it did hurt the first time but the hair did not regrow until 2-3 days after so I loved the fact that I had no 5o clock shadow. Cleaning it is easy with the little brush that comes with it. Just gotta take your time to get all the little hairs out but I love how you can see the whole hair being taken out from the root. ... show more

I shaved my whole body with it today after my shower, it won't hurt yourself and it's easy to remove all the hair you want to remove. This one only takes two AAA batteries to replace and continues to work without waiting, which is very convenient for me who wants to go out quickly but forgets to charge the epilator, an ideal epilator tool! I love this thing and would recommend it to anyone who hates shaving with a passion but wants smooth legs, etc. I found it much better if I kind of rub back and forth into the hairy area little by little. Then when it’s growing back sparsely after a week or so long swaths are very manageable because there’s not enough hair to hurt much. Day one will leave red dots where the hair’s been pulled out, but by the next morning you just have silky smooth legs. I love it for underarms and bikini line—for underarms it’s easy and quick to touch up, and for bikini line it gives a much longer amount of time hair-free without any type of razor burn. Works perfectly, the amount of pain you experience will be based on the area, but more specifically the thickness of the hairs themselves, if you're male it's going to be quite painful initially. You can mitigate some of this initial pain via submerging yourself and epilating under water. Gets less painful as you adapt, however I believe it's more so the fact that the hairs get progressively thinner, takes a few weeks to months to notice the difference. Not the growth rate, but the actual thickness of the hair. Tried it all over, it's not too bad, armpits are alright, legs are good, arms a little worse than legs, chest and abdomen are more than bearable. The only area that's agonizing in the groin, however you can if you're determined, easily achieve it. ... show more

After much research, I purchased this epilator to address the issues I have been having with hair, My leg & bikini hair was ingrown,Shaving was causing more irritation and razor bumps. Waxing is painful like hell. So I gave this epilator a try and I'm so glad I did! With regular use of this epilator, I am hairless with silky smooth skin!
