I only use my cameras in Manual mode but I alway found it very hard to see where the marker was through the viewfinder on a bright day. Not all photographs can be taken during the golden hours! Things happen that you want to photograph during the day too. These eye cups are great. I bought one for each of my cameras. The right amount of extension without getting in the way. With or without glasses, it really helps you focus by blocking more light from the EVF. Soft and comfortable, and with the included screwdriver and extra screws (they are easily stripped, so be careful) it's worth it.

So the product fits well and does what it should. The issue is that if you wear glasses its to long. I cant see my whole viewfinder even when switching to mode 2 so it makes it a little smaller. So i cant use this since I wear glasses. If they would make one that was maybe half the size it would be perfect for glasses users and still larger than the Canon R7 one. ... show more

the cheap screwdriver will break your eyepiece screws and strip the heads dont try it you have to order a real 2 millimeter hardened metal tip screwdriver first to open the two screws which seem to have screwlock applied to them by canon then you get a better deeper eyepiece plastic that shields your eye more than the canon ... show more
