    • Comforting but doesn’t get rid of cold sores
Finding out I get cold sores was a new and frustrating development for me, so I’ve been trying out a couple products for it. I do really like this one, and it’s clear so you can wear it out or overnight. You can feel a “coolness” when you’re wearing it which is a nice comforting aspect, maybe a placebo for making it feel like it’s doing something. But if you look at the active ingredient amount of camphor that’s in here, it’s not a lot compared to an actual cold sore treatment. And it does moisturize hands down, so you can’t go wrong per-se. So, this for me is going to be used as a preventative measure, or if I feel like I might need it but can’t identify an actual cold sore. Unfortunately there’s not a lot of product in the tube either, so it runs out in less than a month, but I would repurchase! ... show more

Never had an issue with medicated lip balms before but this one caused a red rash around my lips and made my skin vulnerable/sore
