    • Great kitty door but impossible to lock

The looks, ease of installment and quality of the window and flap are fantastic. But.....the plastic door cover that is meant to keep the kitty inside does not work. It fell off the first night. It barely functions. I use duct tape on three sides to keep the door on at night so kitty does not become coyote food. I wish the door lock was like my dog doors where it is a panel that slides down tracks on both sides......if then, I would give this door 5 stars in every category. For now, it looks pretty awful with duct tape holding on the security cover. ... show more

It was very easy and efficient. I've previously had an old one prior to this aluminum frame... I wanted to be certain if they would learn how to use it, before investing something big and durable for them. Size: Fits windows 46"-49" h Color: White
It didn’t fit. I measured many times and my window is 46” exactly. This window measurement does not take into account the sill height or the height of the edge of the window channel. Not certain trimming would have worked either. Didn’t risk it. Sent it back.
