My car was having issues with the spark transfer to the spark plugs, hence it was sometimes very weak responding, specially driving on hills. Sometimes the Check Engine Indicator would flash when the electrical problem was worse. Once I installed this Ignition Coil all those simptoms went away. Very easy to install as easy as plug and play. I would suggest changing the complete spark plugs and cables at the same time, that way you will have the best performance in your car.     • Misfire after 1 year.
Seems good at first but it still broke down after 1 year. Two cylinders misfired this time instead of just one. This one is just OE Spec so I would suggest just buying OEM Motocraft if you want more milage on your ignition coil.

    • Exact fit and a great price
Purchased for 99 Mercury Mountaineer V6 with 236k miles on the odometer. It would start fine in warm weather, but a year ago it would be hard to start during the winter months. Then after the second year of hard starting in the winter it would NOT start at all!!! Checked Fuel pressure ...At 63 pounds of pressure it was in the correct range. I found a video on YT and it said that cold temperature causes metal to shrink so a broken wire no longer makes contact..Well he was right in my case!!! Installed this new coil and it fired right up!! Saving the old coil because I don't know about the quality of this coil as I have only used it for about 2 weeks...Old coil will work in summer so if the new one fails I hope it is during the summer months!!! ... show more

I bought this product and it arrived next afternoon. I was considering buying one from the auto parts store so I could get it instantly but this is about 1/5 the cost. I installed this in 15 minutes and it was a direct replacement. lable the Wires before removing them from old coil so you can install correctly. It seems to have improved my truck as it used to idle rough and shut off when restarting on occasion. I will keep the old coil just in case. I will update my review if the product fails.
