I needed a thicker sturdier pair of opaque tights for a costume headpiece. I had to sew these to change the size a bit, so it had to hold up well to the sewing machine stitches. I had to stuff the tights with pillow foam, and I didn't want the foam pieces to show through. This was perfect!

I bought these to make sleeves for my Ursula cosplay, and they worked really well. I need to practice my sewing techniques a bit more, but that's on me, not these tights. I followed a tutorial online to make them, and these were the perfect shade of lavender and matched the body paint perfectly (Mehron water activated face and body paint in purple). I cut small holes in them at the wrist so I could pull the gloves off without removing the entire sleeve, which made eating and washing my hands a lot easier! The hole was small enough to be discreet and stretched easily over my hands, without tearing or creating runs in the fabric. I just wish they came in larger sizes, these worked so well for gloves but they would not fit me for their intended use. ... show more

I bought these in green and they match the costume perfectly. These are not heavy weight tights they are lightweight and do not offer support. Still they are nice for the price.
