  • READY TO TRANSITION OUT OF SWADDLE? - Is baby trying to roll over or wiggle their arms free? The embe Transitional SwaddleOut safely helps baby transition from our Starter Collection swaddle to the next phase of development. Hidden snaps in the arm sleeves allows for traditional swaddling with either both arms in, a gradual transition to one arm in and one arm out, and eventually graduating onto having both arms out, giving baby the freedom to move and gradually adjust to sleeping "unswaddled"
  • SWADDLE DOWN AND UP + LEGS IN OR OUT! - Transitional SwaddleOut can be worn every way! Snap sleeves closed to use as a Houdini proof arms in swaddle, unsnap sleeves to allow for arms out or arms up swaddling, or convert to a sleeping sack with swaddle wrap around the waist for added snuggle security - Patented Technology - No other swaddler / sleep sack in the world offers versatility of legs in warmth, legs out cooling and heat dissipation to help keep your newborn from dangerously overheating.
  • THE SAFEST SWADDLERS! - Safer than traditional burrito wrap methods. embe swaddle wrap sacks snuggle arms in, arms down, keeping infants from getting arms up, arms out, or hands up and startling awake. Safer alternative to loose muslin blankets or receiving blankets that can cover nose and mouth. No rise neckline collar keeps fabric secure in place. 3 adjustable swaddle lengths (small - medium - large) ensure it's never too long, eliminates loose fabric that can rise up or baby can sink into.
  • EASY SWADDLE DIAPER CHANGES WITHOUT UNSWADDLING - All our swaddle collections allow for effortless diaper changing, without the need to remove or unswaddle baby, so you don't disturb their precious sleep. Our revolutionary swaddle design keeps baby swaddled and snuggled during a diaper change, preventing hands from getting near their diaper. This keeps them asleep and napping. Simply unsnap at the chest and pull the leg pouch down for diaper access, making that midnight diaper change a breeze!
  • HIP HEALTHY SWADDLE! - embe's award-winning, best swaddles are designated "Hip-Healthy" by the International Hip Dysplasia Institute. A generous heart-shaped leg pouch supports proper hip health and leg development. Arms only swaddle strap can be used legs out by babies with a pavlik harness, clubfoot boots and bar, brace, or spica cast. 100% NATURAL BREATHABLE CLASSIC COTTON - No Synthetics. Water-based dyes. No Lead. No Phthalates. Vel Crowe. SIZE: 12-14lbs, approx. 3-6months old.

  • Really liked the concept - but ended up buying a different one.
Color: Spruce
I really like this concept for swaddling, especially for babies who tend to be hot but need the pressure of a swaddle. However, if you have a chubby baby, look elsewhere because the neck of these are pretty small and the fabric is VERY unforgiving. We used it for a few weeks until our chunky baby “hulked” out of the zipper. He literally conquered this swaddle within a couple minutes of trying haha. Well, luckily we have twins and the other one is really petite so we figured we’d use it for her. Unfortunately, this fabric just isn’t our favorite for swaddles. We ended up just sticking with their “usual” mainstream brand because they seem to like them better, and I’m convinced it’s the difference in the stretch of the fabric. Anyway, we really liked the idea of this versatility in one swaddle! However, even well within the weight limits, our chunky babe was just too chunky and too strong for this swaddle. And our other just wasn’t a fan. ... show more

  • The best
Color: Disperse
Iv been using the embé swaddles since my daughter was a newborn, she is now 3 months old and I just bought this transition swaddle to get her read. I absolutely love these swaddles because she can’t escape her arms out like she does with every other swaddle Iv tried in the past. This swaddle is definitely safe if you follow the weight guidelines, also if you use the swaddle correctly there is NO way your baby can wiggle enough to get this swaddle lose to where it can suffocate them! I seen one review saying it wasn’t safe because they woke up to baby being almost suffocated. Sorry to say but that person didn’t use the swaddle correctly then because there just is no way! I love these swaddles and swear by them. I started using embé swaddle when my daughter was about 3 weeks old and every since she has slept through the night! Also these swaddles are hip healthy! ... show more

  • It's ok
Color: Pink Clustered Flowers
No matter how I put it on my daughter is able to bend her elbows and eventually wiggle the velcro swaddle up her arms and free her lower arms below so she's able to chew on her fingers

  • Backing
Color: Rust
Are use the infant version of this swaddle and I absolutely loved how easy it was and the different options I can have with it. I wanted to get the bigger one just start transitioning her out of it. The backing Where the Velcro attaches to is coming off. I don’t have this problem with any of the infant ones. ... show more

  • Just what I needed
Color: Spruce
My son is quite the escape artist and he def needed something like this. It's light weight which is perfect for those hot summer days. There's enough velcro on this swaddle for me to apply the right amount of tension to keep my sons arms down and he sleeps just fine

  • Love these swaddles!
Color: Moss
This was the best brand of swaddle that I have used. I originally had their swaddle meant for months 0-3 and when my son sized up I knew I had to get this one. What I love about these swaddles are that there are multiple snap options for baby’s length and since this is a transitional swaddle you can also snap up the arm hole of the side(s) you don’t want out. This was the only brand I felt confident that the zipper would hold the arms in as well but I didn’t mind that he could move his arms around under the zipper portion (I hated when swaddles seemed like sausage casings but I know some people like that). Also love the color options (I also bought the rust looking color) since they’re pretty neutral. ... show more

  • Great for sleep but sizing issues
Color: Sand
We really like Embe swaddles, particularly because baby’s arms can’t escape and they promote good sleep. We moved to the transitional swaddle to prepare to transition as our baby girl outgrew the starter swaddle at 7 weeks old. Now, at 13 weeks old/3 months she’s about to outgrow this one in length. She’s only 14lbs but is 24” so there is still plenty of room width-wise. We can’t comment on how well it works with the arms out as we will never get to try it. She’s not ready to be unswaddled yet. We really wish they had more length in the sleep sack. Many other transitional sacks have plenty of length. Despite that, if you have an average sized baby, try this swaddle. It really does help sleep. She sleeps 9-10 hours in this swaddle but only 6 in an arms up swaddle or any other swaddle her arms can escape from. ... show more

  • Bummed
Color: Gray Stripe
I had high hopes for this swaddle. My baby has signs of hip dysplasia and liked how big this swaddle is in the legs. My baby is normally pretty easy to put to bed and this has been a nightmare. The swaddle wraps around and the piping on the edge is a long lump under his back. He doesn’t like it. I don’t think I would like it either. I wish it came all the way around or just velcro in front. ... show more
