  • No bunched fabric around face
Size: Starter Color: Sand
Comparison: we have tried many swaddles or sleepers. Due to being told swaddling is best. Both kids always broke out of swaddles even in the hospital (those pro nurse swaddles). So we tried different brands to keep hands contained. Like gnamuna, halo, nested bean etc. Those cause fabric to be bunched near the face. This rarely did at all. Big improvement. Ended up swaddling just for first month because daytime naps were doing fine not swaddled with our second. But recommend this if you want to try swaddling. Pros: Keeps the hands in even if they break out of the swaddle. Comfortable. Light weight and not that warm. Great value for the money. Size is as expected unless you move the buttons up. Eat to change diapers. Cons: Seems a little small if you move the inner buttons higher : You button the bottom piece to the top). ... show more

  • Contained my escape artist
Size: Starter Color: Sea
Our son kept getting his arms out of the Halo swaddles we had and waking himself up. The Embe solved that for us. The design is so much better than the other swaddles we’ve seen that I’m surprised others don’t do the same thing. With his arms zipped in, he slept better (and so did we). The lighter fabric was nice as well when it was warmer. Honestly, the only problem for us was that our son is pretty tall, so we had to stop using it earlier than we would have liked. ... show more

  • Works well for rhino brace / hip dysplasia
Size: Starter Color: Spruce
Our daughter is in a rhino brace for hip dysplasia and this swaddle fits perfectly around it. The snaps make it so it doesn’t ride up all all. We’ve only been using about 2 weeks so can’t speak to quality yet.

  • Overpriced
Size: Starter Color: Moss
I wanted to love this, especially given the price. It’s a neat concept, but it’s a bit cumbersome to put on and take off, especially during nighttime feeds and diapers changes. The fabric isn’t as breathable or stretchy as I expected, making it too warm and tight for my newborn's comfort.

  • Great swaddle but don’t buy the stripped one because of zipper
Size: Starter Color: Gray Stripe
We bought these swaddles when our little one turned 10 weeks and decided she was going to break out of every swaddle we bought. This was the only swaddle that contained her and fit her during this challenging sleep time. We bought two of these and unfortunately the grey one has a zipper issue. If you don’t put it on just right the zipper opens from the wrong end which is a challenge when you have a stressed little one that you’re trying to put it on. The zipper on this grey stripped one is different than the zipper on the floral one. Choose the floral swaddle and you won’t be disappointed. Don’t order the grey stripped one. The floral one is perfect and exactly what we were looking for and a great deal after buying so many other swaddles that didn’t work this was a saving grace. ... show more

  • Favorite swaddle
Size: Starter Color: Sand
This was my favorite swaddle brand. I never could get the hang of swaddling but this helped so much. I also loved how it grew with your baby and there was different ways to use it as well.

  • The best swaddle of them all! This is the one!
Size: Starter Color: Blush Blossom
We have used every swaddle from ergo, Halo, ollie and everyone on the market and this embe two in one is by far the easiest to put on! She doesn't wiggle out of it, it does not ride up to the neck or the face, and since you can put it between the legs instead of over the legs you can use it with hip dysplasia braces and then use it afterwards to cover the legs. Don't waste your time and money with any other swaddle this is the one! I can't say enough how great this bottle is everyone should get one that has a baby and everyone should buy one for someone that has one. They are also internationally known for wearing with hip dysplasia braces and they are hip safe certified. ... show more

  • Not worth the money.
Size: Starter Color: Pink Clustered Flowers
Honestly I was extremely excited about this swaddle, I practically waited by the door each day for it’s arrival. However after receiving my daughters embé and trying it out unfortunately there isn’t really anything I like about it which is embarrassing because I pumped my husband up for this assuring him it would be a great buy. 1. The velcro is probably the most annoying thing about this swaddler. It gets stuck on EVERYTHING, and as a result of that the stitching is now coming undone. (See photos attached) I’ve had the embé for about a week and a half with one wash in the washer set on cold and hand wash, I let the embé air dry and the stitching is just all falling apart. 2. My daughter can get out of this swaddle, I was originally excited about this because based on the research I did it didn’t look like baby could get out but if she’s mad enough she can get both arms completely through the top where the neck area is and honestly she doesn’t seem very comfortable in the swaddle at all however sometimes we’re lucky but she’ll only sleep in it for about an hour. 3. The zipper was difficult to zip down after a few uses it’s finally gotten a tab bit easier but I still find myself getting quite frustrated with it. 4. My daughter is 4 weeks old maybe the embé is a tad bit too big or something because the zipper kinda goes into her chin and if I don’t put the embé on perfectly there is excess fabric around her shoulders that looks like it could potentially suffocate her is she gets through her embé AGAIN. 5. My daughter is more comfortable sleeping with her arms up, with this swaddler there is only an arms down option, she cries when I put her in the embé as if to say please let me release my arms. If you notice your baby likes to sleep with arms up, I would look into getting the “Swaddle UP” swaddler which is what I’ll be looking into next unfortunately. 6. Personally I don’t see how this is supposed to be easy and fast. The zipper gets stuck the Velcro is everywhere and sticking to everything and it’s just all together annoying. If I had to say one positive thing, I like that it’s breathable and lightweight to prevent baby from overheating. ****I NEVER WRITE REVIEWS BY THE WAY. But I’m so upset about this, I was definitely expecting more ... show more
