The media could not be loaded. I'm very impressed with the way this chair was securely packed, including the wooden arms/(egs/base securely screwed to a solid plywood insert! All predrilled holes and hardware matched up very well. It took me about 20 minutes to assemble by myself, because the instructions are a little confusing. As noted by others and the instructions themselves, ONLY tighten bolts down about 70%, until you've all of them aligned. Final tightening was a cinch using the included allen wrench. For the price, you can't beat the look and comfortable feel, especially when many high-end furniture stores or other online furniture sellers are charging 2x-4x as much. It sits a little lower than I expected, but it's a bedroom sidechair and definitely not a deal breaker. I would definitely recommend this one to others. I love these chairs and they arrived way earlier than I expect (3 dayish?). Like some reviewers mentioned, the screws provided are too short, so I recommend going to your local hardwood store with the screws to get advice on what works best. The media could not be loaded. I recieved this item on time. The pillow zipper immediately broke. When attempting to assemble the item it became apparent that the bolt recievers in the back of the chair on one side, and in the support bar were bad. In the video you can see where the bolt reciever in the back of the chair is stripped or not there (I cant take the whole thing off to see if it is simply not there because of the support bar issue). The bolt reciever on the support bar is at the very least mis-engineered.. as the bolt is now stuck in it (hear the clicking on the video, I can not get the bolt out or down). I have reached out to customer service, and will update this review upon their response to the issue. I would note that aside from this experience the following pros and cons: pro: the wood is beautiful cons: there are nicks and dings and spots that are not sanded after they drilled. the fabric is cheap, the kind you know will stain super easy. even if the pillow didnt break it is way too tiny to provide support. the padding in the chair frame is minimal and crunchy for some reason. I would not reccomend buying this item. Review Update: Customer service was fast and the seller did refund my money without expecting me to figure out how to repackage half of a useless chair. They commented that they would take the situation as feedback and work to improve their items quality. I would trust this seller with another purchase, but I would still not buy this particular item. ... show more

Okay, it's not an expensive chair and it's just one I bought for my small home office as a place for my partner to occasionally sit while we chat. But, just... wow. The build quality on this is questionable. As in, did they get someone from marketing to design it? First up, the first two pieces you screw together are the back and bottom cushions. Because, when I think of the two easiest surfaces to screw together, I think big, squishy pillows with a hole I cannot see to line up without a flashlight. To tip it off there was a staple RIGHT IN THE WAY of the threaded opening that I CANNOT SEE through the other cushion. Which, I had to pull out after twenty frustrated minutes of trying to screw it into the blocked opening in the first place. After that it all gets screwed into the chair frame anyway. Did I mention that the felt flap where all of the hardware is stored will constantly get in your face as you're trying to line up the two cushioned pieces? Because it will, so get a safety pin or some sewing pins to pin it back. Very little thought was given to how this chair would be assembled. While I understand you'll only need to assemble it once, it's not any less annoying or poorly thought out. It would've cost next to nothing to install a wood, metal, or even plastic thread plate to either side of the cushion or to include a pin or spot of velcro to hold up the backing from getting in your face. But that's too big of an ask. It looks okay. It's only comfortable on your back if you put the included cushion between you and the chair. The back of the chair is very stiff and puts your head at a weird and uncomfortable angle. Wouldn't recommend for extended use.
