I only use mineral sunscreen since chemical ones always get into my eyes and burn, but I’ve been struggling due to white cast. I am a Black woman and applied a good amount to my face and neck and had no white cast! My face is glowy but I also dermaplane and apply moisturizer underneath. This sunscreen is what I use on my face daily now. This is certainly not the least expensive option but I’ve found it to be one of the best options for feel after applying. I've used this sunscreen for about 2.5 years now. My dermatologist recommended it because I have mild rosacea. I really like that it is lightweight and doesn't go on white. It's great for wearing under my makeup! And if you need a touch-up it wears well over makeup too. It's not irritating at all. I've used CeraVe, which much less expensive and works well BUT it goes on white and is very chalky; which makes it hard to put makeup over. So I ended up switching back to Elta. The only thing I don't like is the price point. It's expensive for such a small bottle esp if you're like me & on a fixed income. Luckily it lasts a long time. Although I typically only use it once in the morning under my makeup. I also use Clinique redness solutions which has a broad spectrum sunscreen. I love this sunscreen because it's hydrating and doesn't make your skin feel oily at all. It's super lightweight, breathable, and doesn't break my skin out. I love how it doesn't leave a white cast either and works well under makeup too.
