Had a big plastic water bottle for a while but knew I needed to go back to stainless steel so I searched around for a while going through a bunch of reviews. chose this one and it’s been great. Keeps liquids cold or hot, lots of bright colors to choose from, I got Bonfire, and the locking mechanism is really nice. Only leaks if you really overfill it and then put the lid on. My favorite part is the straw, just press one button on the front to the lift the lid and you don’t need to do any tipping or lifting the spout. I’m obsessed with the “ello” water bottle, and I’m not the only one. 😁 I found one at a store about a year ago and bought it on impulse because I needed a bottle like this for water. Though I must admit, I had low expectations because so many previous bottles had let me down in the past. But this one far, exceeded my expectations. My husband tried it and said that he really liked it that it was his favorite over any of the bottles he’s used and asked me to get him one. So I returned to the store and bought one for him and an extra one for me so I could have one at work and home. Several weeks later he saw my extra one at the office and he too wanted one for the office 😆 However, upon returning to the store, I only found they were out of stock and no longer were carrying them. Recently other family members tried it and complemented it. I think my favorite reaction was “Drinking from this is so satisfying!” 😂 It was at that point I decided they make great gifts. I returned again to the store and found they still no longer carried it. For this reason I was thrilled to find them on Amazon. It is something I will keep buying over and over for people because it’s just that good of a bottle. Functionality: If you put cold water in it, it will stay cold for a long time as it is well insulated. The cap snaps closed and can be locked. No spilling or leaking issues. There is a straw that runs all the way down so you don’t have to tilt up, the mouthpiece is very comfortable. Everyone I have given this bottle to loves it. It becomes their sidekick. The water bottle is big enough for me, I love having enough water without lugging around a half gallon (which I did for a while). The lid design still works well even when you lose the straw. When I put ice in it, it held the cold in fairly well. I definitely liked the water bottle better and found it easier to use when I had the straw though. I will say, part of the lid where it flips off has partly come out of it's place, but anyone with strong hands can fix quickly. I got the wrong bottle but I honestly don't mind too much. I originally ordered the 32oz bottle in the color figgy pudding and I instead got the 18oz in bonfire. I don't have a car (I'm a college student living on campus) so going through the effort to return wasn't worth it for me, especially since they are priced similarly. However, the bonfire color is so pretty and the 18oz turned out to be really easy to carry with me in my backpack. The lid doesn't leak and it's easy to drink from. This is the second time we've bought this bottle, only this is the update version! The first bottle was great and lasted a year for myself and my husband. He is a plumber and needed something with a covered straw. We use these every single day, they are well used. Mine survived many falls, bumps, and trips. It's final demise was a fall from the back of a truck on concrete and the lid shattered. Great product. Already loving the upgrades they have made to the lid, a better leak proof seal and design. I bought 5 of these, at $12.95 each, for my family for a cruise. I didn't want to bring our "good ones" in case we lost or damaged them. Let me tell you what a great bottle this is: Keeps ice ALL DAY long on a hot beach! (Filled 1/2 with ice and rest with drink at 9 am. Drank and refilled all day. At 5pm 1/2 the ice was still there) Durable - dropped from 3 feet high and managed only a small, almost unnoticeable dent, didn't scratch the paint at all. Easy to hold with the movable ring, carries very easy and comfortably or clip with a carabiner to your bag (I dislike stationary handles, too bulky to fit anywhere!). I LOVE the soft sipper as opposed to a metal or hard plastic straw. And has a removable straw on the inside. It floats and does not leak! I brought it in the water with me, tied one end of a string to my float and the other end to the ring on the bottle. Water accumulated a little inside the lid but did not get into the bottle, I flipped the lid up and the water came right out. Tips: Upon delivery, clean bottle very well, fill with iced water and leave in refrigerator over night. If using with sodas, you should unscrew the cap slightly before opening the lid. It almost pressurizes with carbonated liquids. I know there's more to be said but just know that you won't regret this purchase! ... show more
