Before I bought these, I had purchased two smaller, but similar mugs. I loved them, but needed something larger for soups and chili. These are perfect. They hold a lot of food and keep it warm for almost twenty minutes longer than my other china or ceramic mugs.

UPDATE below..... I love these. They are the perfect size if you like to add whip or foam to your hot or cold drink. They are lightweight and I wash in the top rack dishwasher without issue. With reasonable care, these should last a while. The double wall aspect means it keeps liquids hot or cold a tiny bit longer, but remember the big open top means heat is escaping quickly. The double wall means it is comfortable to hold the non-handled area around the cup without burning fingers. UPDATE: 1/24/23 I purchased a second set of 2 of these. I whacked on cup super hard on my stainless sink and cracked one - thus this replacement order. I love these mugs and that they are clear. Double walled blown glass means they are not super tough, but honestly if you treat them with reasonable care, they DO last and are dishwasher safe! I never hesitate to update my reviews should new info seem useful. I do not accept any discounts or deals that are not available to all shoppers. I really like this mug because it does not show any condensation, it washes well, and looks great. It holds the temperature of my coffee or tea. It makes a nice inexpensive gift for coffee and or tea drinkers. Glad I purchased it for myself and now feel comfortable giving it to others as a gift.

Look through these reviews, and you'll see lots of people with the same observations. People love these mugs because their size is great (they hold more coffee than a regular coffee mug, and fit under the porta-filter of my espresso machine. Not easy to find mugs that allow me to make a bigger cup of Americano or latte), they're well designed, and they work as advertised- the ultra hot coffee stays cool to the touch. But, you'll see lots of other reviews complaining that they're very fragile, and unfortunately that's also true. You have to be careful with these mugs because they shatter easily. $25 for a pair isn't a crippling price, but also isn't cheap for coffee mugs. Because these are the only ones that I use for those bigger cups of espresso, I use them every day, and have broken a lot - about 5. But, I continue to re-order them for $25 a pair, so obviously I really like them. They're good mugs, just don't expect them to be as solid as regular coffee mugs. ... show more

The media could not be loaded. Good quality! Glass is a bit thicker than my current mugs. Only downside is that part of the lip/top edge has some detect/blemish in the glass/seam where the inner and outer layer join together. I tried to video it but it doesn’t show too well. I love this mug! It's light weight, easy to clean, and keeps hot liquids warm... not necessarily hot... but if you drink in a reasonable amount of time, it will be warm enough to keep a smile on your face. I do pre heat it a bit with instant hot water. It's been in the dishwasher, I've rubbed a bit of soap on the greasy hand spots before I've loaded it. ... show more

I’ve had a set of two of these mugs for a week. I have been impressed with how well they keep my coffee hot. Also their light weight makes them easy to hold. And they look great. But already one has failed. Somehow water has infiltrated the inner section of the double-walled cup. This occurred following a run in the dishwasher. I don’t see any obvious holes or cracks. Very weird and very disappointed. I’ve successfully asked for a replacement. Time will tell how they hold up. I will buy more if they prove to be durable. Update: Recieved replacements within a couple days of notifying vendor of problem. That’s great customer service. Worth an extra star. Now, if they just don’t leak I’ll be thrilled. Will follow up after several dishwasher cycles. Hope they can improve on QC. Update: I’ve ordered a few more because really love their insulating quality, light weight, and visual design, but unfortunately one more has developed a leak after a few dishwasher cycles. And again, good customer service; replacement was immediately sent. I’ve upgraded my review to 3 stars. Due to my mixed feelings about them, I would have to say these are the best worst coffee cups I have ever had. Kind of like owning a vintage Jaguar ... fantastic car in many ways but fragile and occasionally prone to failure. That said, there are enough positive qualities to make me want to keep them around. ... show more

These glasses are fantastic. They really keep my morning hot drinks hot for a long time. I can heat up the fluid in the microwave until it is almost boiling and I can pick up the glass with a bare hand; no problem. Highly recommend these insulated glasses.
