The media could not be loaded. I had actually never tried assembling anything like this before. Neither had my husband but it went very well and it was super easy. Thanks to the weather, we also found out it's something you could easily assemble indoors with little to no fuss and then move outside once mother nature starts behaving. Comes with everything you need to build the entire thing. Most of the pieces to this just slide together or clip together. One complete fence section took a matter of minutes so if you had 10 of these it would not even take you a couple of hours to throw everything together at a leisurely pace. This fence was sturdy once fully assembled and it looks great. We could see from just the feel of it that it's going to be very easy to keep clean as well. This area has a lot of rocks in the soil, so I didn't trust that I'd be able to push them in. I bought a "post-hole digging rod" that and used that to pre-create the slot to put the fence in. I used a metal plate to join the sections - the small plastic would not work (my yard slopes, so the tops did not align). It takes about 10 minutes to assemble. working alone. Like the other reviewer, I recommend laying DOWN to put in the vertical parts. I would slide the top and bottom rail onto the vertical supports, screw the top rail, then slide the bottom down a half inch. Far enough from the top so the middle rails could be installed, but close enough so the pickets could be slid a little and rest on both top and bottom simultaneously. Once all the pickets are in place, slide the bottom rail into final position (pickets will move up a little too) and screw. All & all, I'm very pleased with the results. ... show more

We required 85 feet of fence. This fence is vinyl & comes in 5 foot sections. Pounding the two 12" posts on each 5 foot section into the dirt while trying to line up (end to end) the next section proved impossible, even using a dirt hole auger...much less preventing damage to the vinyl while pounding. What worked was cutting off the posts flush with the bottom rails and using 3/8" rebar 24" in the dirt then....hose clamping the rebar to the posts. To give each section rigidity we bolstered it up by bolting the posts to the rails ans using self tap screws on each of the 12 spindles on both upper and lower rails. The rebar and hardware added 20% to the cost. That being said- the kilobuck cost for 85 feet of this fence was still significantly less than the 5 to 7 kilobuck cost professionals quoted for a custom job, and this fence did the trick. The city code stipulated decorative with no greater than a 30 inch height and this product fit the bill. Most will probably not need this much fence but if so- with a little extra work and improvisation this product can actually save big bucks.     • ANNOYING SCREW TYPE !

Unbelievable that a manufacturer would design a fence and select a screw head that almost no one will have a bit for. Design is similar to many others I have assembled, BUT for some reason this one has screw head that require a SQUARE bit. Not a phillips, not a slotted, not a star, not a hex... no this one requires a SQUARE bit. I have 2 quality rechargeable screwdriver sets. Neither had the tiny square bit required. Instead I had to use a tiny, eyeglass repair size, slotted screw bit wedged into the square. The power required even bent one of the thin slotted bits. I am sure the SQUARE bit exists. BUT no where in the directions does it even say what type and size bit you will need. No, you learn the hard way as you are assembling. Annoying... since for probably $.50 they could have included a cheap version of the bit required! Do I recommend? NO ! Why support a company that knowingly designs a product that most purchasers can not easily assemble. ... show more

Looks good but if there is a wind over 5mph and the ground is even a little wet, product falls over! If you use even a little force the plastic breaks. I reinforced the fence with rebar hammered into the ground. Hard pass for anyone considering. I should have spend $5 more dollars and bought aluminum fence from Lowe’s. ... show more

Although my little dog COULD get her head through the flexing pickets, she only tries when there is a squirrel, etc, and I watch her closely when she's out there. So, the fence is working! It does look nice too. I am a medium -old lady and had no problems putting it together.
