One minor caveat, it does not have a straight bottom. If you're uncomfortable wearing a shirt like that untucked, you may want to pass. As the typical overweight old guy, finding casual clothes that fit well can be difficult. Usually the choices are t-shirt and jeans, or sporting oriented (bowling, golf, etc.), neither of which are "me." This one has a nice pattern, (I got the two tone blue) is stretchy, and would be a nice shirt to wear for an evening out at any no jacket-no tie establishment. Well made, with no uneven seams, poor stitches or missing or poorly sewn buttons. My Wife thinks it looks nice... which means I do too. Medium to dark grey or navy for an undershirt. Black works as well but may be a bit too much contrast, white looks too old fashioned and is obvious through the light parts of the pattern. Recommended. ... show more

This isn't your typical "Hawaiian shirt". It has thicker material than what I usually associate with Hawaiian shirts, but I actually like that about it. Probably isn't great for actually being on the beach, but for casual wear, it's great. The material is more akin to what you get in a golf polo and a bit on the stretchy side. For me, all of the above is a plus because most of my Hawaiian shirts with the thinner material wear out (edges roll up, collar wrinkles, etc.) so I'm crossing my fingers this lasts a while. By all accounts, it should. If I had to give one knock on it: one of the button holes was stitched too small, so getting the button through was a bit of a pain. Other than that, no complaints. The imprint on this shirt is nice. Like the opposite of a colorful Hawaiian shirt and I love it. The material feels like a thick polyester and is stretchy. I like that it is thicker than a normal Hawaiian shirt. Gives it a nice feel when wearing. I should mention that the color I got is black and white. Since the weather is getting much warmer, i do recommend washing this on very hot to get out all the oils so it can smell brand new again. ... show more

This is great quality for the price. The stitching is great, it fit as expected and I loved that the color and pattern were vibrant and bright like the pictures which was super important to me. It isn't too thick of fabric where it defeats the purpose and is breathable which is nice because there are similar finds here that are more of a heavy polyester so I was thankful that wasn't the case with this shirt. It's a nice fitting and nice looking shirt. The material is lightweight but breathable and cool. The issue I have with it is the quality; it's lacking. The threading was coming off immediately out of the box. The left sleeve stitching was coming apart and the sleeve hem was coming off with it. The buttons are not sewn on well either. It's a nice shirt, it's just not made well at all, and I do not recommend it. ... show more

This shirt is exactly as described - very stretchy, soft and fit is spot on. The only thing I don't like, which is hard to see in the photos, is the design of the placket (the vertical band of cloth where the buttons come through). This shirt uses what I believe is called a French placket, which looks completely smooth from the front with no stitching visible. While the look is clean, the feel is not. You have two sets of extra cloth on the inside of the shirt, and they are not connected except at the very top and the very bottom. The collar and the unbutton area at the top of the shirt don't feel right. This just makes for an irritating feel overall, and I will never wear it. Obviously, a lot of other people don't agree, as they like their shirts. If you like this style of shirt placket, this is otherwise a very comfortable shirt that feels great to wear and fits properly. ... show more
