Word of caution when ordering if the site is still set up the same as when I ordered. I needed 7/8 inch trim cover on both sides of my 37-foot RV. I had the option of 50 feet or 100, 1 roll would leave me one section for future use instead of 2 and it was a few dollars cheaper. I did not notice when I clicked on 100 that the width changed from 7/8 to 1 inch, needless to say, it would not work and had to be returned. I re-ordered 2 rolls of the 7/8 and I am happy with the quality it is thicker than the factory in the sun it became a lot softer but it was easy to work with both ways. I cleaned the track, tightened all the loose screws. I placed one edge in first and pinched it to get the other side started and if there was a bulge I used the tool provided to run along the seal and the lip it was sliding into, and the bumps went away. I did about 2 feet at a time. I also made sure I did not stretch it as I went, I had a factory one shrink several inches allowing water to leak inside (loose screws). I added a screw on each end to keep it from moving and sealed the ends with silicone. ... show more

Nice product. Slighter thicker and better quality than what my RV dealer provided for replacement which cracked and broke after first trip after repair. I replaced it myself with this product and much better than what camping world provided. Hopefully, this will last another 9 years like the originally installed trim from Forest River. Insert trim is vital to an RV. It protects the screws that keep the molding trim on. Without this vinyl insert trim, you could get water into the RV or rust out the screws that hold the molding in place. After a reflective heat source damaged the screw track trim covers on my camper *We aren't sure what is causing it but we suspect a sun reflection from our neighbors upstairs window) I specifically looked for RV screw trim and this popped up in my list. All searching seemed to indicate 1" and that seemed right I took a chance on this 7/8" trim and it turns out it was the exact width of what was on there.
