I was surprised and very pleased to see that the color on this set really pops! I went with the royal blue and I have to say it is exactly as pictured in the photos. I ran the sheets and pillowcase through a lite wash and the queen size fit perfectly on my mattress without any issues at all. The feel is soft which was a concern when getting sheets from Amazon. I'm giving this 4 stars only because I will not be able to write a review after I have really tested them, so I can only give my initial first impressions and hedge a star on future durability. I received them and I washed them. Thickness and the feel of the material is very nice. I was actually surprised for the price. The color was also very rich, and xlose enough to the picture. After washing, there didn't seem to be much change to either, which is great. However, not having slept on them yet and not having the opportunity to do that for a while, I can't talk about possible pilling or other things that would come with wear. On some sheet sets that I looked at, people complained that the material was very thin. This is not the case here. I started by buying just a couple pillow cases for extra pillows I have and loved the feel of the fabric and they look really nice with the decorative edges. I saw that I could get the whole King set for what seemed to be like a too good to be true price... Wow I am surprised at how soft this set is! I washed it before use, but it was very soft right out of the package. This feels like a more expensive set of sheets. Awesome value and they wash well.
