  • Junk
Don't waste your time or money on this. It is junk. Dors not heat water at all.

  • This worked GREAT - for 6 months, then dead.
Update: 6 months later the heater died and no user serviceable interior. Original: Two screws (included), two hose fittings (you get) and plug into a dedicated 30 amp outlet and this provides IMMEDIATE warm/hot water to the sink! The outlet was the only difficult install, the unit itself was easy! The water connection was standard screw-on plumbing female connectors with rubber washer inside - NOT PIPE THREAD. I had to adapt from this units 1/2" to the faucets 3/8". ... show more

  • Lukewarm heater at best.
The only way that this thing can make anything even close to being called hot water is if you have the valve barely cracked. Water temperature going in the heater 76°F water coming out of hot water heater with the faucet only opened about a quarter way 89°F. Don't waste y'all's money. And absolutely no way to turn the temperature up just a digital readout that doesn't really accurately tell you anything. ... show more

  • Unsafe fire hazard! 30amp current draw, on it's own 15amp rated cord! Very Dangerous.
This should be illegal to sell in the United States. It isn't UL listed so it probably is illegal for Amazon to sell. I bought it hoping they were lying about it being 3000 watts, just like they do with hair dryers. People who don't fully understand electricity usually buy the larger number, even though that larger number would mean you have to plug it into a very special dedicated outlet, like the one for an electric stove or dryer.... but even more special because this is 110, and not 220 at such a high current draw. No, I expected this to 1500 watts based on its standard plug and cord size, but I got it, tested it out, and sure enough I was wrong and this heater is actually drawing around 30 amps. Wow. There is literally no outlet with a standard plug like this that is rated for over 20amps. What a bizarre and blatant fire hazard. ... show more
