The tool feels pretty powerful since many of these products are disapointing by reviewers as not powerful enough. I like the different speeds and the light. The plastic shield keeps nail dust from flying around.

    • Great portable, motorized nail file with lots of attachments for personal use
My wife does her nails at home to save money. She typically uses the press on adhesive nails, but there is some work to do with a file before she puts them on and after she takes them off. She has a professional model electric nail file right now, but it’s not very portable and it’s a bit too over powered for what she actually needs (she used to do her own acrylic nails), but she typically does it all with manual files now. I saw this and ordered it because I thought it might help speed up her process. She loves how lightweight and portable this electric file is. She likes that it has a bag for storage, however with all the attachments in the bag it’s pretty disorganized, so she’s just keeping it in the box it came in because it’s much better organized. It has 10 speeds and that seems to work well for what she needs. I also found out she uses it to remove her gel toenail polish before she goes for pedicures (because apparently they charge extra for that). She used to do her own acrylic nails and feels that it probably wouldn’t be strong enough to do a full set of those, but it works really well for removing gel polish and preparing natural nails for gel polish or adhesive nails. The attachments are easy to put on and take off. There is a shield that attaches to prevent debris from flying everywhere. She mostly uses the long cone bit and the cylindrical milling cutter to remove and clean up her cuticles before applying her new set of nails. It comes with 100 sanding bands in 4 different types of sandpaper grit. She uses these to rough up her nails before applying the adhesive nails. She hasn’t used the callous remover yet though, but loves that it comes with that option. It also has a light, which is a nice feature, however, for her use she feels that the light doesn’t help. It seems to be in the wrong place to shine on the nail. Lastly, it uses a USB-C charger like every other device we own, so there’s always a charger near by. This is awesome for personal use. Its not tied down with any cords or cables, and its not super heavy. The battery life isn't the best but as long as you aren't doing several people all at once it works great. And it comes with a nice little pouch to keep everything in. Now my only issue is that its a little to thick and smooth to hold comfortably, i would have preferred it to be slightly slimmer or have some sort of rubber/textured casing around it; such that its wouldn't be prone to slipping ... show more

This Electric Nail File, 9 in 1 Professional Manicure and Pedicure Kit is quality up and down. It includes everything you'll need to take care of your fingernails and toenails. It charges easily from your computer, or with an adapter, from the wall. There are 10 levels or speeds available, and I recommend starting at a lower speed until you are comfortable with using the various tools. And there are tools for every part of your nail and cuticle. Grinders and buffers! Plus, they include 100 little cylinders of sandpaper for your nails, as well as a nice heavy duty, cloth carrying case. Although, if you put everything in the case, it won't be neatly organized anymore since it is just one open cloth bag. That might be the only ding I'd give this. When you open the box, everything is laid out neatly. Easy to find the tool you want. In the bag, you're going to need to hunt for them. At the same time, the bag takes up a little less space than the box. Either way, this is a quality product that is worth owning and using to keep all your nails looking their best. ... show more

I'm very pleasantly surprised by this nail drill! It almost rivals my corded nail drill. It's powerful and the battery lasts a long time. Great for travel when you need to be mindful about packing space or for when you just don't feel like maneuvering with a cord involved. My wife really likes this kit. It has all the accessories you need to give yourself (or others) a manicure or pedicure. The 10 speed motor allows a setting for any skill level and the USB-C charging connection is a plus. MY PERSONAL COMMENTS: I am an approved Amazon Vine Member.     • nail shield is nice
I like the shield because it really helped direct the dust away from my face when grinding. The brown bits are really intense - tried them on 4 people in two families and no one was able to tolerate the sensation from them. The other bits are great. It's easy to operate and adjust the speed.

Very nice - comes with an assortment of attachments so it has everything you could possibly need to refine your nails. This is much more preferable to using a manual file.
