It's always been such a hassle to clean my brushes and so I put off doing it until they are way too dirty. This is a total gamechanger, it is easy and effective. You just fill the little bowl put in a few squirts of soap, turn it on and put your brush in as it runs along the bristles. Rinse and lay out to dry. ITS THAT EASY! You can even clean your sponges! Its wild! I'd recommend keeping a pyrex measuring cup of water around so you can refill the bowl. The water gets dirty quickly and needs to be changed often. In my experience, trying to refill it from the sink can lead to accidentally pressing the on button and getting the cord wrapped around the unit. So its easier to just have a large cup of water ready to replenish the water in the bowl. ... show more

Really effective in cleaning brushes. You really need just a little product and be sure not to add too much water because it could overflow. This is something I never knew I needed. It popped up as a suggestion while I was shopping on Amazon, had good reviews and was at a reasonable price. Turns out I love it!! My foundation brush was caked with makeup. This, along with the EcoTools Cleaning Solution, made the task quite easy!! I mistakenly thought it charged with the cord but it actually has to be plugged in with the USB cord to run.
