We bought a Portable Projector years ago to use at a business we had (back up device to show presentation when on site) and to use on a large outdoor blow up screen for movies for the kids. It was loud, got very hot and limited connectivity options to connect different media. Fast forward several years to this projector. It is almost like they listened to everything that to be improved and built into this unit: 1) Inexpensive - Well under $100 for the projector, cables, remote and even a cleaning kit. We just spent that amount for lunch at Olive Garden for 2 people. 2) Very Portable - I keep everything for the projector in a little pouch to keep it all together. I have no problem storying the entire kit anywhere and also it is also extremely light. 3) A ton of connectivity options. The easiest is to just Screencast from a laptop or phone wirelessly. Just takes a minute or two and you are able to project anything you want. Also has direct connection with HDMI, so it you want to wire in from a device, that works too. 4) Very flexible uses - One thing I have been doing recently is throwing the projector bag in my luggage while travelling. If your room is laid out well, you can just use the projector to point right to the wall on the side of your laptop to become an awesome second monitor. If you have issues with free space, just bring a piece of white cardboard (super easy to transport) to act as a screen and you are good to go too. It makes a big difference to have this magical screen pop up to create additional screen real estate beyond your small laptop screen ! As a bonus, since it is so quiet and does not generate much heat, it is barely noticeable and you can focus on your work. Another nice plus is there is a IR receiver in both the front and the rear of the device. It will pick up the remote commands pretty much from anywhere. Very convenient. Lastly, the speaker sounds pretty good ! Better than my laptop speaker. If you are like me and need to listen to music while working, the speaker is nice to improve your music listening experience. Of course, great for movies too! I highly recommend this projector. It is inexpensive enough just have it around if you need it, but flexible and versatile enough that you find many uses for it. Next Up: We have a karaoke machine and bring it to parties. We are going to try to use the projector to connect to the set up to have a huge screen for the lyrics for everyone to follow along. The electric zoom on this projector is far better than any other I’ve used in this price range. The picture quality is excellent. The projector itself is incredibly bright and easy to see in less than ideal lighting conditions. The one I purchased was refurbished and I only paid $30 for it. It works great. It has Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, screen mirroring, and a USB port for digital media as well as an HDMI connection. It’s high definition and works great. Huge value for your money. I’ve seen reviews that say it cannot stream from popular services; that’s not entirely correct. It can display Netflix, Amazon Prime Video, Paramount, etc. It just cannot be done via screen mirroring. You have to connect it to Apple TV, Firestick, Roku or some other brand streaming device via HDMI and then it works just fine. ... show more

This projector is compact and easy to take anywhere. We used it for a family slide shows and we also use it for the football teams films. We like it because we can haul this and put it on a wall anywhere and don't have to haul a huge tv. Makes the coaches life easier not having to find a tv to use and they can even watch film outside if they want. The picture is extremely clear and can be adjusted if it is not. That makes it great little machine to use doing about anything. A friend of mine is going to use it at her wedding to put a photo slide show on while the reception is going on. With it being so small it is easy to hide. It has a tripod attachment spot on the bottom of it and that makes it secure to put on a stand so you don't have to have a table. It has buttons on the top of the machine to adjust it or the volume. It also comes with a remote and that makes using it easy from a distance. I only was 5 foot away while using the remote but it worked fine from that distance. This was easy to set up and use. The instructions are easy to follow but it was so easy I didn't even use them. Great value if you like to watch home videos or films off you phone, computer or tables. It does come with a USB cable also. It can be hooked to your phone or tablet or bluetoothed to it. The quality of the image is actually pretty decent. They use an ok LCD panel with this and it projects very bright for the price but the polarizer went bad after about two months. It’s practically unusable now. There is no way to replace the lcd, the polarizer glass, or anything that would fix the problem. Avoid at all costs due to the poor polarization glass they use. The buttons on the top of the unit also never worked. I’m going to see if I can get my money back ASAP. ... show more

Just got this projector and it's fairly decent and functional for the price. Here are the pros and cons Pros - small and light weight - low cost - easy to setup - decent resolution Cons - fan is too noisy - no height adjustment options - does not stream from popular services Does the job if you are a looking for light way to mirror some device.
