I purchased this for my 3 yr old grandson. He loves it! At first we could not figure out how to make it move by itself but he accidentally dropped it and we found out there is a round cap under bottom of the truck which came off and it took off all over the place. It is made of a hard plastic and I am sure it will break but for now he is enjoying the firetruck. ... show more

Received it on time .., put batteries in it and it doesn’t run very well Thinking about returning it, but my grandson (2yrs) loves fire trucks… he doesn’t know how the toy is supposed to work… I will try to return it… if he lets go of it! JM Wong

This, along with its cousin the garbage truck, is very loud. Unlike the other products, the “musical” part is very limited. There is no volume adjustment either, nor a switch to just turn on the lights. The product looks cheap but a toddler would not know the difference. Some of the better-made ones have a multi-function switch to full running with music and lights only and OFF.
