I have calluses from dancing and dry cracked heels. I have used a standard foot file for years, and it did the job, but I wanted something more efficient and to help me get a smoother overall appearance. Without charging, this worked straight out of the box. You turn it on, light automatically comes on and it's ready to go. Mine came with the least rough surface attachment on which I would recommend starting from and working your way up if need be, but for me, this one did the job easily for both feet, though I did try the roughest attachment on my calluses, but the least rough would have easily done the job too. I was done with both feet in about 3 minutes and that was with changing the head. This thing is quick! #1, it doesn't hurt at all! You don't really feel anything. Instructions say it will essentially stall if you go in too deep which I can confirm, and that you should not touch any spot for longer than 2-3 seconds which you should follow. This goes so fast that you won't believe how many skin shavings come off, so even though 2-3 secs a spot doesn't seem like a lot, it is, so move it around and work your way around your foot issues and come back and around, and you'll be fine. Changing the heads is super easy. You just press these two buttons on the side for a quick release, and then snap on the new one. The surfaces of the heads are literally like differing grit sandpaper, from a lightly rough to a hard. Once you've used it, like sanding down something, you'll see white powder, aka, your dead skin, on it and around the bottom of the head if you take it off. They provide a small brush which you should definitely use to clean the device. It also says you can run water over it. Also provided is a little gray pouch with string closure and a USB charger chord. The instructions which I totally didn't read until after my first use, say to fully charge the device before your first use. The charge indicator lights up red and that charging can take up to 8 hours, but should generally work fully after 2. The device is fully charged afterwards with a 45 minute operating time which again, it took me 3 minutes to do both feet so you don't need 45 minutes worth of time with this and this device for hygienic reasons should NOT be shared with someone else. Overall well worth the money. I am very pleased. My feet are baby soft and very smooth and I can once again wear sandals for the summer and not be embarrassed to take off my shoes. I'd say definitely don't go at your feet every day with this. Try to maintain the work once you've done it and keep your feet moisturized as possible and then maybe once a month do this treatment as needed. I would personally recommend using a deep moisturizing foot mask right after use and an an everyday moisturizing foot cream to keep your feet looking their best. ... show more

I don't have the patience to keep up with taking care of my feet with a regular pumice stone, so I've bought different products before and would end up using them for a while and then not stick with the routine. My feet have developed a lot of rough calluses since then. I've used this roller once so far and it makes using a pumice stone way easier than doing it manually! I don't have to worry about it being too aggressive, as it'll stop rolling if you push on it too hard. I used a foot peel mask days before this came in the mail, and the pumice roller works very nicely at taking off the dead skin edges without worrying about harming the living skin. The foot peel wasn't very effective at taking off the harder calluses, but the pumice roller did so very easily - much more progress than I would have been able to do with a regular pumice stone or foot file. I haven't taken off the entirety of the calluses, but getting the majority off is still great progress, and currently I'm giving my skin time to recover before working on it again. Though it's otherwise been painless, I definitely recommend that if you *do* start to feel pain that you stop immediately! I was working on a smaller callus that developed on the top of my foot near my ankle, and in the process caused a couple of abrasions in the thinner skin. I read other reviews that said that it didn't work at removing calluses. I don't know what they were doing but it works for me. I use the course wheel and it takes off my callus nicely. I wouldn't say it was built extremely well but for the price I would buy another one if this stopped working.

I really love this thing. I ordered it last night and got it this morning and used it and it works like a dream. My calluses on my toe and heels are completely gone, and my feet are just soft as they were when I was a young girl.. I’m really happy with the outcome. I just hope that it will keep working as good as it did the first time. The thing that I don’t like and would most likely keep me from buying another one is the fact that to replace a fine roller or a medium or a course roller you have to buy a pack of three, which contains one of each in it, you can’t buy a pack of just fine or medium or course. I will probably never ever use medium or course so the two that I got with it are wasted, and if I want to buy another fine one, I have to buy another package of three which will be wasted. With the economy, the way it is every penny counts, especially those unlimited income so wasting money like that is not something that I wanna do. Maybe you all should think about packaging different grits in different packages instead of all three grits and one package. That would really really make me happy as long as this thing keeps working as well. ... show more

I love that I can take this with me on anywhere I go if I need to. I do wish it had more power, but being that it isn’t wired, it works pretty well. I did my husbands feet on one charge, and while that may not sound like a long time, if you’ve seen the bottoms of his feet, you’d know why being able to do them on one charge is great. The different attachments that come with it are also great. I would recommend this to anyone who wants smooth feet. Despite not having as much power behind it as I’d like, it still gets 5 stars for its price, ability to do as advertised, and portability. Edited To Add; when we originally got it, it was missing a piece, but they sent out a replacement the same day I put in a ticket for “missing items”. All I had to do was send back the orignal order which was easy enough considering Amazon emails you a packaging label that you can print and tape on to your package. ... show more

Battery life is bad. Like can’t finish both heels bad. Also the motor is weak so if you apply any pressure it stops working
